In less than ten minutes, No. 3 had repaired the damaged aircraft.
While No. 3 wasn't a professional mechanic, he was currently more useful than any mechanic because this aircraft was developed and produced by him.
Once No. 3 finished repairing the aircraft, Russell called Hulk back from where he had been drinking at the airport, and they began their journey back to New York.
As the three of them flew back to New York in the aircraft, Grendel was engaged in an intimate conversation with Godzilla.
Grendel originally didn't understand the language of the Titan creatures.
However, it didn't matter because after merging with Godzilla, he quickly learned the Titan language and engaged in a friendly conversation with Godzilla.
Although Godzilla didn't like Grendel very much, it had no choice but to endure Grendel's incessant chatter at this time.
After a long flight, Russell and his team finally returned to the League headquarters.
They had left Hawaii in the evening, and it was already noon when they returned to the League.
Upon their return to the League headquarters, Hulk headed to the wine cellar with his empty barrels, while Russell and Kara flew in the direction of their apartment.
Neither of them had plans to go to the Octopus Monster headquarters today.
Once they were back at their apartment, Russell took a relaxing hot bath, changed into his pajamas, and without a second thought, went to sleep.
With his constitution, not sleeping for one night, or even a week, wouldn't have much of an impact, but he still tried to maintain a regular lifestyle as much as possible.
When he woke up again, it was already evening.
Checking the time, he decided to have a romantic candlelit dinner with Diana tonight and inform her about Godzilla and other Titan creatures.
He first called Diana, asking her to wait for him at the museum.
Then, he completed his grooming as quickly as possible and changed into clean clothes.
An hour later, he and Diana appeared at the French restaurant under his name.
As usual, at the restaurant's entrance, they greeted the enthusiastic New Yorkers and took friendly photos with them before making their way to the private table reserved just for the two of them.
Once seated, they didn't need to place an order; the restaurant's server quickly brought over a pre-opened bottle of red wine and poured them each a glass.
After pouring the wine, the server didn't say a word, just bowed slightly and left.
When the server left, Russell and Diana picked up their glasses and lightly touched them.
After elegantly sipping the expensive red wine that looked like blood, Diana gently asked, "What's the deal with Godzilla and the Titan creatures? How can creatures of such astonishing size exist on Earth?"
"As for why colossal Titan creatures exist on Earth, I'm not entirely sure," Russell replied.
"All I know is that before the current human civilization, there was an ancient civilization where humans coexisted with Titan creatures."
"The species Godzilla belongs to was the ruler of the Titan creatures in ancient times."
"The MUTO species, on the other hand, was the arch-nemesis of Godzilla's species, and they all fed on radiation and radioactive materials."
"Godzilla isn't very interested in humans; it mainly absorbs natural radioactive substances."
"On the contrary, the MUTOs actively attack humans and are particularly interested in artificial sources of radiation, such as nuclear power plants and nuclear weapons."
Russell shared the information he knew with Diana in great detail.
Of course, he kept the information about Godzilla's future battles with King Ghidorah or Kong and other Titan creatures a secret.
That was something that would happen in the future, and whether it would happen exactly as he remembered was also a question.
Diana knew that Grendel was under Russell's command, so attributing this information to Grendel, who was currently merged with Godzilla, would be reasonable.
However, predicting the future was not so easily explained.
At least for now, Russell had not demonstrated any abilities related to foreseeing the future.
"Are you really going to have Godzilla join the League?"
After listening to Russell's explanation, Diana asked with some confusion.
The League was a superhero team, and it seemed unlikely that Godzilla could become a superhero.
It wasn't that Godzilla wasn't willing to help humans; it was just that its assistance could be quite burdensome for humans.
Aside from the fact that Godzilla could inadvertently cause massive destruction in human cities just by walking around, it wasn't known for its carefulness.
Its imposing and arrogant stride was its normal way of walking.
"There's no other way. If I don't bring it into the League, with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s and the military's attitude, they'd dare to use a nuclear bomb against it tomorrow," Russell said somewhat helplessly.
He had indeed forced Godzilla, but in a world with superheroes, joining the League was not a bad thing for Godzilla.
Even in the monster universe without superheroes, humans had developed Mechagodzilla to deal with it, let alone the even less scientifically grounded Marvel universe.
"With S.H.I.E.L.D.'s and the military's way of doing things, they would indeed resort to such measures," Diana nodded, agreeing with Russell's statement.
After a few seconds of silence, she continued, "Once Godzilla joins the League, even though you can protect it in the League's name, it's still a Titan creature entirely different from humans."
"Protecting it won't be easy."
Looking at the worried expression on Diana's charming face, Russell slowly said, "Don't worry, I've already thought about how to handle things afterward."
"As long as Godzilla becomes a League member, even if the White House has objections, I'll protect it."
"No one can bully a League member, no matter who they are!"
Although Russell usually had a laissez-faire attitude and delegated tasks he could assign to others, it didn't mean he was an irresponsible leader.
When responsibility was required, he would never shirk it.
"You have a plan, and no matter what you do, I'll support you!" Diana said with a charming smile and a serious tone.
After discussing Godzilla's situation, Russell and Diana changed the topic and began a normal conversation between a couple.
While enjoying the French gourmet cuisine prepared by the chef and chatting intimately with the alluring Diana, Russell was extremely satisfied with the current atmosphere.
However, as it turned out, unexpected events always happened at unexpected times.
Just when Russell was happily chatting with Diana about romantic topics between couples, several soldiers in military uniforms forcefully approached them, ignoring the adaptability's attempt to stop them.
"Mr. Bradley, you are ordered to appear before the Senate Armed Services Committee at 9:00 AM tomorrow. This is your subpoena!"
Wearing the uniform of the U.S. Army and a short skirt variant of the female uniform, with a black beret and golden curly hair pinned up, a female officer handed the subpoena to Russell with a stern expression.
"Has the courtesy of American Army officers really gone downhill like this?" Russell glanced at the female officer's appearance and figure and said in a cold tone.
Although the female officer looked very attractive and seemed more like a model than an officer, it didn't mean he would have a good attitude right now.
