“Great. Okay, I gotta run. Not literally.” Dave laughed then took off.

“That was quick,” Kevan commented as they went into the restaurant.

“That’s Dave.” Craig waited until they were seated before continuing the conversation, asking, “If he does plan something, which knowing him, he will, would you…Do you want to be involved?”

“Of course.” Kevan replied. “Well, if you want me to be.”

“I wouldn’t have asked if I didn’t.”

“Then it’s a done deal.” Kevan cocked his head, asking, “How long has it been since you’ve seen any of them?”

“Forever,” Craig admitted. “We drifted apart, after that night.”

“Then it’s time to un-drift, or something,” Kevan told him. “You need friends. Everyone does.”

“Like you?” Craig retorted, lifting an eyebrow. “If you have any, you couldn’t prove it by me.”

“Yeah, well…” Kevan shrugged. “I’m not big on collecting people. There’s a couple I keep in touch with, but that’s about it. Until you.”
