chap 11

I am about to take my first step into the real life of a shinobi, a life of killing and massacring people as if it is a regular Monday, I truly wonder if I made the right choice but what other choice do I have in this dog eat dog world and I wonder if I will remain the same at the end of my journey and how much of my personality will remain the same, but just as always I will push through it all and continue moving forward.

After reaching the front desk I was asked to wait for the Hokage's permission to enter but as I'm sitting in the empty waiting room an unexpected person comes in and sits in a few seats away from me and that was Itachi Uchiha, and because of that my heart just skipped a beat not because of him but because at that moment I knew something was wrong why would the Hokage invite us both, but I obviously can't do anything about it so I wait and expect the worst, as I'm waiting and wondering if my true strength was exposed another person makes an entrance, another unexplained and unknown reason of why this is happening because now in in the same room as Itachi Uchiha and Kakashi Hatake, that old Hokage is up to something. After all, why would two members of the Anbu squad have to wait in front of the Hokage office not only that but Kakashi is taking glimpses towards me as if he is sizing me up, god my heartbeat keeps rising but I have to stay calm and keep on my poker face.

after a couple of minutes of awkward silence, a voice was given attention, permitting us to enter it was the Hokage.

####Hokage POV####

I put my pen down after finishing most of my paperwork as I see the three youthful shinobi walk into the office, Kakashi with his black dead eye and Itachi being tense and serious and finally Akira in his eyes I can see confusion not only that but I can tell he is analysing the room unlike the others despite their strength they have dropped their guards to a certain degree but he didn't a, still not out of the ordinary since the report that was delivered by Anbu previously have mentioned that he is always looking over his shoulders being extra careful with each step he makes during the high-level missions or the lower-level ones, a good habit to have in such world.

"Hello, you might be wondering about the purpose of this meeting so I'm gonna cut to the chase, today I welcome Akira sarutobi and congratulate him for successfully reaching the level of strength of a Jonin," I say as I put on the jonin jacket on top off the desk and slides it towards him,

" now that all this is sorted out, now I get to tell you something that I wasn't sure if one day I would get the chance to do so, its related to your father and a promise that I made for him which is joining the Anbu division after you reach the level of a jonin " and as I finished speaking the air and the look on him started to slowly change from calm and optimistic to the opposite of that, but that didn't last for long and quickly got back to his original facade,  then with a cheerful look on him and a smile on his face said           "Hokage-sama thank you for such opportunity, I gladly accept your offer to work as a member of Anbu and protect the village "

int the Sarutobi clan while most of the members are sleeping in their homes Akira seems to still be awake despite the late hour, two clones of him are currently inside a training room that was created after Akira did some remodelling in the house and turns it from a regular family house to a one-person house after he got rid of all the rooms It is now made up of two large groats one is a bedroom and the other is a training room and of course, the house still has a bathroom and the kitchen. as the clones are training in the Kenjutsu and Bōjutsu Akira is inside his bedroom It consists of a bed and a desk, sitting on the desk And signs of anger are on his face

" that ugly monkey(Hokage) tricked me, he plans on using me as a puppet to get closer to Itachi and befriend him trying to deescalate the situation by involving me in his mess, not only that but that means he knows that I'm hiding my strength I'm sure he doesn't know about how strong I truly am, but I underestimated him a lot, he is a lot more cunning than I thought he would be. but luckily light and shadow are two concepts that one can't exist without the other, therefore despite me being used like that I can still benefit from this after all I'm part of the Anbu and in one of the squads led by Kakashi and Itachi will be one of my comrades so I get access to a higher level of techniques plus the experience I will be gaining from this will be helpful later on.

I just wish I wasn't noticed by the Hokage so soon I needed time to grow and increase my strength because now I'm still considered as a newly appointed jonin with an above-average strength which wasn't that great, especially inside one of the great 5 villages.

I need to get stronger and leave the village I gotta come up with a good reason to leave my best option is 

•sage mode if I successfully convinced my summoning animal to help me in doing so".
