Ariadna POV
Few days after everything, Father had an audience first thing in the morning. He hasn't finished his breakfast with me when Erden suddenly showed up and said something urgent came up. As I was walking through the halls I have passed by Estann's room. Happy memories with him since childhood seems so nostalgic but the night of my debut still lingering which pains me to think Estann siding with Tyros.
"Ariadna"
I hear the call of my father at the other side of the hallway. He pointed to his study room signaling me to go in there. As I entered, Father smiled at me while sitting at his chair. I sat on the couch facing him.
"I have good news and bad news"
"What is it? Can we start with the bad first?"
My father chuckled. He stood up and sat beside me and held my hand close.
" Ari, I know you almost grew up here and your heart is almost attached to the people here. But it is time to start saying good bye to them"
"Why father?"
"We will be going back to Sydonia."
My eyes got teary hearing that I'm going back to Sydonia. Kazimel will always have a special place in my heart but nothing beats home. I hugged father tightly.
"I got the news from the white knights this morning. We will move at 3 days time"
"Its.. 3 days is too early"
"Aren't you happy?"
I sighed and thought of Marika, she would be sad if I left her alone especially her brother's not here. I will also miss Kabel for his visits now I'm going back to Sydonia, Mortok is too far away. Father looked at me with a worried face.
" You know, think of it as starting a new fresh start with this Father okay?"
I nodded and he kissed me in the forehead and left. I closed my eyes and as I slick my hair back. Everything is happening too soon.
