151. Slaughter
"Insolent fool." Jade Emperor yelled furiously and immediately stepped forward from his throne and appeared in front of Diane.
Without giving her time to react. He struck her on the stomach and made her spill a mouthful of blood.
"Ugh." Diane groaned and was launched back through the mountains unceasingly.
Suddenly, the world started changing colour. Everything turned to just white and black. It was like someone took the colour out of it.
"You will pay!" King's eyes were spewing fire and he said with such coldness that it could freeze Antarctica ten times over.
"Hmph, another insolent fool." Jade Emperor sneered derisively and tried strike King with a palm.
King just magnified Chastiefol into a shield and also made countless daggers appear around them. He was out for blood.
"Hmph, foolishness." Jade Emperor sneered again but this time. He didn't know that he was messing with the wrong guy.
He also took a defensive stance and struck toward the daggers furiously. "Heaven's attraction." He used the electromagnetic waves to hurl a large mountain at King.
King just motioned with a finger and the daggers burst through the mountain before striking towards the Jade Emperor.
"Impossible." He said with astonishment and then started to attract meteorites from space.
He might be above universal level but King was way above that. Plus the fight was still being kept to a minimum level to avoid harming the universe itself and Midgard.
"Hammer of Doom!" Diane shouted with all her strength and the hammer expanded to an unimaginable size.
She looked at Jade Emperor and let the hammer fall. The air quaked and the space was ripped apart by the sheer force of the hammer.
'Have to control the destruction or Ragnarok will come before even those guys move.' King thought sarcastically in his mind and immediately used his powers to guard the whole universe.
The fight was getting real now. They were finally using all their strength and Diane wasn't holding back in the slightest and it looked like she was eager to pop Earth like a balloon.
"Take this!" She shouted out and the hammer contacted the shield erected by Jade Emperor.
The soldiers around him also tried to input all their power into the shield to withstand the impact of the strike.
The Queen Mother in all this time just coldly looked at everything with a calm and arrogant expression like she had full confidence in her man.
"Yin Yang reversal." Jade Emperor growled out and sent out heavenly energies in the form of a giant beam towards Diane.
The beam and the hammer collided fiercely and both of them got stuck in a stalemate for a while.
"Earth Crash!" Diane channeled the power of Earth into Gideon and let it be enveloped with a layer of brownish energy.
The energy started to eat away at the energy released by Jade Emperor and Diane again gained the upper hand in the stalemate.
"Heaven's fury!" Jade Emperor moved his arms upwards and a massive thunderbolt fell from the sky straight towards Diane's head.
"Protect." King said calmly from the side and used Chastiefol to protect Diane from the thunderbolt.
'I don't wanna interfere but sometimes I can't help it.' King shook his head helplessly and watched as the fight raged on between them.
Finally, Jade Emperor won against Diane and seized a chance to strike a heavy blow straight on her gut.
This made Diane spill blood from her mouth because her internal organs were shuffled around and took heavy damage.
"Enough!" King said in a heavy and authoritative voice. Which made the both of them stop.
"Apologise right now and I will leave this matter behind." His power was radiating out at its full and Jade Emperor could feel the oppression coming from it.
"You can't make this King bow down." Jade Emperor said and teleported away with all his entourage.
"That won't save you." King narrowed his eyes in annoyance and tried to teleport toward their pantheon as well but he suddenly remembered Diane's condition.
"You big idiot. I've told you a million times to not let anger take control of yourself." King shook his head and used protect to heal all of Diane's injuries.
"I was just furious at him for saying something bad about you." Diane lowered her head in apology and told him with a sullen face.
"I know, now rest for a while and let me handle this." He picked up her face with his finger on her chin and kissed her on the forehead.
"Okay." Diane smiled sweetly after getting that kiss and nodded her head.
"Alright then time to kick some ass." King banged his knuckles together and teleported away from that place.
'Heh, trying to put restriction arrays against space. Not a chance mate.' King laughed in his mind and just teleported into pantheon like it was his back garden.
"Jade Emperor, Come out and meet Death!" King shouted out and made his voice cover all corners of Heaven.
"Who's yelling in front of this venerable one?!" Another haughty voice countered back and slammed a big energy palm towards King.
"Great Desolate Palm." The voice was calm and steady like the person had seen everything in the world.
"Hmph." King just harrumphed and the palm disintegrated like it never existed.
"If you don't come out in one minute then forget your Pantheon ever existed." King's eyes glowed dangerously and the whole weather around the Pantheon started to change.
The colours faded out of existence and the gods in the pantheon felt suffocated from the sheer pressure of King's aura.
Chastiefol unfolded into countless small daggers and covered the whole area of the Pantheon like a giant cover.
The deadly gleam of the sharp daggers and the powerful aura emanating from the weapon made all the Gods' scalp tingle. This was the forgotten feeling of Death.
They haven't experienced this feeling in countless years ever since they became gods and joined the Pantheon.
