Chapter 41 Exposed

Just then Sharon walked in and they all turn to face Sharon.

“She is even staying with him” Patrick whispers.

“Shhhh.. keep quiet she is heading our way” Paul warns.

“Yea, I can see that” James said in a whisper.

Sharon walk straight to them, and they just keep blinking at her with their mouth open.

“What’s wrong with you guys? And why are you looking at me like that?”

“Who? Me? Him?” Patrick said pointing at James and Paul and then to himself.

“Whatever” she said and walk pass them.

“Damnit, did you see that?” James ask Patrick.

“This guy is sitting on gold and you want him to remember us? Who are we?” James ask and they start laughing.

“You guys can have her, I don’t need that gold, I have my own gold” Paul told them.

“But why do you like this Christy girl so much?” James ask Paul.

“I don’t know, I guess maybe because she is simple, humble, has a good heart, and beautiful too.” Paul said.

“No…no..no..no don’t go there, Sharon and Bridget are more beautiful” Patrick said.

“Well maybe, but am just been drawn to Christy I guess” Paul said missing her already.

“Guys the Christmas holidays is coming to an end how are you preparing to go back to school?” Patrick ask.

“No idea,” James said.

“And you Paul?” Patrick ask.

“No idea too”.

“Well I have an idea, let’s start preparing for where to travel to since we are graduating next year” Patrick said so excited.

Paul turn to look at James,  “What is he talking about?”

“Guy what are you saying?” James ask Patrick.

“My mom wants me to travel to the United States, I will be staying with my uncle and I will be working there too.”

“Good for you” Paul said. “as for me I will like to stay on my own if I go to the states.”

“Then let’s stay together when we graduate”. Patrick said.

“Me I don’t think I will be going to any united state, I will just look for something here” James said disappointed that he didn’t have any one in the state he can stay with.

“Don’t worry” Paul said to James, you will just stay with me, that is if am going to the states because from what am seeing, is like I will be taking over the company when I graduate”

“ is a good thing” James said.

Just then Sharon walk pass them again.

“So what are you going to do with her”? James ask.

“What do you want me to do with her?  What you should be asking is about Christy, I will make her the happiest woman on earth.”

“Hmmm, see how love is written all over you”, Patrick said to Paul.

“Yea you can say that again.”

Sharon received a call from Desmond and she decide to go after all Paul was just playing with her emotions.

“How are you today? And why is your face like this?” Desmond ask her because she wasn’t bright at all.

“Am fine, do you have any hot drinks?” She ask

“Yes I do”, Desmond brought out the drinks and they start drinking. Before long they are in bed together.

Desmond walked up to Sharon lighting a cigarette

“What! You smoke”? He ask surprised.

“Yea, you don’t like it? She ask with a straight face, “ I will just go outside, she got up to leave.

“Is fine you can do it inside, am just surprised that you…

“That I smoke?  Sharon cut him, Yea, always making me the bad one, is it my fault that I smoke”? She start getting upset.

“No, I didn’t say is your fault, am sorry” Desmond started begging her because he really do like her.

Desmond is a really cute guy but I want Paul, she thought trying to find fault with Desmond so they could break up.

“Look Desmond, you are really a great guy but I have to go” She said and left.

Getting home she saw Paul coming out of the kitchen.

“Hey Paul,” she greeted him.

“Hey,” he said and walk pass her without looking.

“Paul what did I ever do to you? Why do you hate me so much?”

Paul turned to look at Sharon and she went on her kneels.

“What’s she doing?” he ask himself

“Please Paul just love me the way you love Christy, I promise I will do anything you want me to do, I will be humble, loyal, respectful, whatever I will be for you”

“Look Sharon you are a very beautiful girl, men will kill to be with you, but me, am taken, am not available so just get up”

“No, I wouldn’t get up, please Paul I will do anything, ok I will let go of everything, smoking, lesbianism, drugs all of them just be a little kind to me”

“Why are you doing this? Come, get up” Paul held her hand and lift her up.

“You don’t have to cry”, he gave her his handkerchief.

“The problem right now is that am not into you, Christy have my heart and I don’t think she is willing to give it to anyone.”

“I see so is all about Christy? What if I take her out of the way will you love me?”

“Is that a threat”? Paul ask wanting to be angry.

“Is not a threat, am only begging you” she said bowing a little.

Paul walk away not saying anything again.

“Hmmm, I will get you Sharon said smiling, keep playing hard to get, one day you will come begging me”

Paul’s mom and dad left the house to go shopping leaving Sharon and Paul alone in the house. Paul didn’t know his parents where out only Sharon knew.

She went to Paul’s room and started behaving like she was drunk.

“Sharon go back to your room, this is not your room” Paul yell at her.

“Please Paul I want you, don’t do this to me”

“You need to get out of my room, like now. In fact where is my mom? She needs to put an end to this”

“He go up to go and report to his mom”

“She is not around” Sharon said and Paul turned to look at her but she was naked.

“Paul please don’t leave me like this”

Paul looked at her and was like “ nice try but no thanks, now you have to leave, put on your clothes and leave my room” he said and walk out of the room reaching out for his car keys he drove off.

What level of madness is this? I don’t love you, is that too hard to understand? Paul keeps complaining as he drives.

“What did Paul just do?” Sharon ask herself, “no one has ever done this to me, I have never been insulted this way, is all my mom’s fault and as for Paul, am going to show you the stuff am made off.”

She put on her clothes and went to her room waiting for Paul’s mom and dad.

Paul’s mom and dad were the first to come back home and Sharon walk up to his mom.

“Am leaving” she said almost in tears.

“What happened my dear.?”

“Is Paul, he didn’t want me” Sharon said trying hard to fight back the tears.

“That can’t be, Paul can’t say something like that”  she defend her son.

“Look mom, this is the girl that Paul wants not me, all he has ever done since I got here is insult me”

“What?” Paul’s mom yell.

“Where is that Paul? And who is this girl?”

“Paul is not around and I don’t know that girl” Sharon said.

“And were is this place”? She ask as she watch the clip on Sharon’s phone.

“Is Paul’s room” Sharon said.

“No, Paul can not bring a girl into my house” she said taking the phone to her husband.

“Honey look at this” she hand the phone over to her husband.

“Is this not Paul?” He as if he didn’t recognized his son.

“Of course, that is Paul and who is the girl?” She ask her husband.

“I don’t know, you have to ask Paul, he will know better”

“So Paul is no longer a virgin,” his mom ask Mr. Brown.

“I guess so”  he said looking at his wife and expecting the reaction.

“So my Paul brought a girl into this house, and actually…. She turned and looked at her husband.

“ Give me that phone, and as for you, don’t tell me you didn’t know about this because Paul tells you everything he is doing”

“Yes, he tells me everything, but the boy has to grow up you know”

“Whatever, as for that girl, I will make sure Paul don’t see her again, I have brought up my child very well, and I won’t allow a street girl to come and destroy everything that I have build over the years.

Honey can you please take this easy? Mr. Brown try to calm his wife down.
