"I don't think I am carrying twins; what I see in my dreams and the movement around me tell a different outcome; it could be more than that." Harper spoke with Charlie.

"You are funny. Was it not twins you agreed with him, which he has paid for? Why speak like a seer?" Charlie replied. "Then go for a checkup, and if that's turned to be true, he should pay you more." She added.

" Ha! Charlie, I thought you were a good friend, not knowing you were just half of it. How do you expect me to approach the man I love with the request that he pay me more for carrying his babies, our babies? Our prayers now should be that this ends in marriage." She replied.

Charlie smiled; at first Charlie wasn't serious about what she had suggested to her. "I was just joking; I know you love him and will always spend the rest of your life with him. Even with that, you need to go for a checkup."

"I have done that, and the result remains that I am carrying twins." Harper spoke.

"Then you believe that, rather than counting your babies based on the disturbance you are receiving in the stomach. Who knows if they are exhibiting the act of being a strong human? We should wait for the D-Day, when you will give birth.

"I have heard you." She answered, "again, am disturbed by my mother; she called requesting that she come over to spend some time with me, seeing that I now work with a big company, as I told her, which is where I earn the money I send to her monthly."

"That is not easy to accept. She must not know about this pregnancy until you have finally given birth or Alexander makes it official that you are his wife; only with that will your mother visit, or else she will develop a heartbreak. No woman in her right sense will endure the shame of what you have done as their daughter." Charlie spoke.

"Do you mean I did wrong by trying to save my mother's life with this?"

"That isn't what I said; I was rather pointing out the outcome of what her condition will be when she got to know about it." Charlie added more.

"What will I do now? "I'm just confused, and I haven't discussed it with Alexander."

"This is what we will do. You should tell her that you are so busy with your work and study that you won't find a space to spend much time with her when she visit." Charlie brought an idea.

"That woman is intelligent; she will still insist on coming; that's where the problem lies; I'm just confused."

"Just know what to use as an excuse; my part is to assist you." She paused and continue " What if I called her myself and explained things to her? Wouldn't she agree with my explanation?"

"I will appreciate it only when she believes you." Harper sounded.

"I will do that for you. Moreover, I believe you are getting ready for the final exam, and although you have Alexander there with you, he will back you up. Yours is to put in your own part of the effort, not people like us who do not have a godfather. Before I forget, do you know that Aiden is seriously disturbed? He still wants you back in his life." Charlie

"And you think that your father won't stand against the marriage?"

"That's its own problem. What I know is that he won't stop me from marrying her, and if he does, I will remind him the number of years he was far from me as his son. In fact, he can't; I am now a man of my own, wealthy enough to be without anyone's support."

"You speak like one whose father's blessing isn't important to him." Lewis spoke.

"It was a wedding on the bed," he said while they kept smiling.

"Okay, what's your reason for taking such a decision, and is she aware of it?" Lewis asked.

"I needed the wedding to commence immediately after the notice of her mother, though her father is late and she is surrounded with uncles who doesn't care about her. I wouldn't want to bring her publicly before them; she knows their minds. And I can't wed her with the pregnancy. I want to carry her like a baby while taking pictures during the wedding. Lewis phone rang, and when he checked, it was Evelyn calling to hear his voice.

"No, it was my wife that called." He replied and said more: "She called to hear my voice." He was almost done talking when Alexander's phone rang. Alexander looked at his phone; it was Harper calling, so he quickly answered her, she requested he return home in time: "I am missing your present, my darling." She said to him:

"Same here, my love; I will be back home soon." He replied to her and have some romantic words with are. " Such as, the joy of my life, my missing rib, my shining star, the air that I breath." And when he was done, the ended the call.

"Have you seen why I always speak well of the both of you?" Lewis asked, already been jealous, " She needed you home, so I think you should go and be with her. Same here with me. I am also missing my woman." He added while they both went back home to meet with their woman.
