The sun’s rays falling over my face woke me up as I open my eyes, smiling like a lovesick teenager as I sit down on my bed touching my lips, blushing furiously as I remember the events from last night. I hide my face in the pillow as I start giggling to myself replaying the kiss, his confession and everything else.

Unable to hide the silly grin from my face, I did all of my morning activities and got ready. I wore a red top with a white tulle skirt matching it with a golden necklace. I did light makeup and let my hair down brushing them. Glancing at my reflection in the mirror one last time, I walked over to my dining room and saw Lucy making breakfast for us. She was almost done as she looked at me up and down, as a wide smile covered her face.

“I won’t force you to tell me what happened yesterday but I am glad to see your smile back on your face.” She says as I walk over to her pulling her into a hug and she embraces me right back.
