Chapter 16

Zain woke up very early in the on Monday morning and prepared for his work, he was really enthusiastic more than ever before about going to work this morning, and that was because he was going to help Jane look for a job at this company, he doesn't how he was going to do it but he he just has to try, thinking about working with Jane in the same space really intrigues him, and he absolutely loves it and as much as he loves Jane, he took a look at himself one more time before stepping out of his room, today is really important for him, he's going to meet with the vice president of his company, to see if he can help him with Jane, he knows if he goes through the normal process he's going to have to wait till forever, and he might never be able to get her a job, because she doesn't have a degree, but he believes if he can talk to the manager he can help him and fix Jane somewhere or worst case scenario, recommend her to some other place.

"you are leaving very early this morning, any problem?" Juliet asked him "not at all why would they be a problem?" Zain replied her without even looking at her "are you still angry at me for what happened since Saturday?" Juliet asked clearly surprised "obviously yes" Zain replied "well then I guess you have a problem" Juliet replied him and walked away. Zain stepped out of the door even more angrier not at Juliet this time but at himself, he knows he had overreacted and probably hurt his sister's feelings, he would find a way to apologise to her when he comes today, but right now he has to focus on getting Jane a job, he had promised her and he must fulfil his promise, he got into his car and drove to to work.

Zain got to work about two hour later, he doesn't like the fact that he has to drive for two hours before getting to work, thanks to his sister living a bit far from town, but he doesn't have a choice the job pays him really well and he wouldn't trade it for anything in the world, not everyone gets lucky to work in the biggest and best avaition company in the county, "The Smith's corporation", when he got his letter of appointment, he was all over the moon, it was one of the happiest day of his life, the salary was more than he expected,he had been able to save enough, he had bought his own car few months back and very soon he would soon buy his own house, he just hopes he's able to help Jane in as well, Zain packed his car in the parking lot and came down from his car, he took the elevator to the third floor, that's the floor where his office is located, he stepped in and met Sylvia in the office, she always came early before anyone else "good morning Sylvia" Zain said, Sylvia snapped away from her seat with suprise written all over her, she had never seen Zain come to work this early "good morning Zain" she replied, once again Zain was looking really handsome, he had always took her breath away, she had always admired him from the very first day they met, they were both called in for the interview and luckily they both got the job, he was looking handsome that day as well, she couldn't take her eyes off him and even when it was her turn to be interviewed, she could barely concentrate and till today she still wonders how she got the job, Heaven must want them together she suppose

Today again he was taking her breath away, he was wearing a black suit and a tie to match, his hair was combed and styled perfectly well, she was still in her dreamland when she felt someone tap her on the shoulder, "back to earth Sylvia" Zain said "uhhnnn what did you say?" Sylvia asked "are you okay?" Zain asked her "uhmm of course I was just lost in thought, you were saying something?" Sylvia asked and quickly composed herself, even though her heart was really beating out of her chest " are you sure you are fine?" Zain asked again with concern written all over his face he touched her shoulders again "uhmmm am really fine, I just need to use the ladies please excuse me" Sylvia quickly stood up and dashed out of the office, her entire face was red with embarrassment, she just hoped Zain hadn't noticed, she had liked him for so long and tried not to give herself away, she couldn't stand being rejected by him, she got into the bathroom and splashed water all over face, thank God her make up was waterproof and it wasn't heavy too, she would apply some powder and lipstick when she gets to the office, even with that that she still felt hot, today Zain had touched her, "does that mean he likes me back?" she muttered silently, and she couldn't help but blush at the thought that Zain feels the same way for her, she quickly dried her face ,and walked back to her office, she wouldn't want Zain noticing something was really up with her.

Sylvia walked back to her desk and brought out the powder quickly and dabbed it on her face and applied some lipstick, "are you okay now? , you seem bothered the other time" Zain asked "yes am perfectly fine now, I just needed to use the rest room" Sylvia replied, if only knew he was the cause, she thought to herself. "okay that's fine, have you seen Mr Jonas today, do you know if he had come in this morning?" Zain asked her "no I haven't seen him, I don't think he has resumed, it's still quite early and you are here early today that's new" Sylvia asked him, he hadn't spoken to her this much before, so she decided to take the initiative and spike a conversation, "nothing exactly, I just need to speak with mr Jonas, please let me know if he comes, I might not notice, its really important" Zain replied her "oh okay I sure will" Sylvia said "thanks" Zain said "you are welcome" Sylvia replied and blushed, she quickly turned her face so he wouldn't see her.
