Chapter 127

Angel felt dazed immediately she set her eyes on him, he looked so handsome and powerful, the aura around him was dangerous and suffocating, she couldn't take her eyes off him

Chris sat down, Jane stood beside him and watched him as he ate his food

"where is Christopher?" Christopher asked?

"he's in the room with little Jane, I already had Thelma attend to them they are doing fine" Grace answered

at the mention of Jane, Christopher's mood turned sour a bit, he was not ready to deal with that just yet, but he just have to face it

Angel noticed his mood, ' he doesn't seem to like that little wench very much ' she thought, she had even forgotten about the girl, she woke up this morning and didn't find her by the side, she didn't think much of it, she had figured she must have been with one of the maids

"son we are heading to the hospital as soon as we are done with the food, Mike can attend to us this morning right?" Williams asked

"of course Mr Smith" he replied

"do we need to go the hospital we can just collect samples and take it to the laboratory" Angel suggested

"and you think I don't know that or I'm stupid to ask that we go to the hospital?" madam Rebecca questioned her

"no grandma, I didn't mean to say that what I meant was" Angel tried to explain but she was cut short

"you know what just save your stupid explanation my nana is not interested, and she asked you to stop calling her that she's not your grandmother and she never will be" Grace scolded her fiercely

Angel was boiling with anger but she had no other choice than to pretend, she needs all the pity she can get at this point

she was trying to make sure they don't find out the truth about all that's going on, she still doesn't know her daddy's plan

"Grace you should stop talking to her like that, she's the mother to your brother's child" Patricia defended Angel

"one more word from your mouth you two faced witch and I will have the bodyguards throw you outside" she threatened her

"Grace stop" Maria scolded her but she didn't even listen to her, she can't stand them both

"this is my father's house if you don't like how things are done, you might as well just leave you are not even welcome in the first place" Grace added

"Grace please I won't have you insult my wife like that" Mike defended Patrica

"then don't ever bring her here when invited, you are the doctor not you both" Grace interjected

"Grace that's enough, please" Williams said

"fine as long as she doesn't poke nose in my affiars we are not going to have a problem, who and how I talk to people is not her business" Grace stated and continued with her food

Chris didn't say anything he just kept mute, Jane was also stunned, she likes how fierce Grace was with them both, she needs to put them both in their shoes

"we are going to the hospital so that we can be sure of no mistakes" madam Rebecca finally answered her question

After breakfast everyone headed outside

"Estella get the child we need to leave now" madam Rebecca said

Estella went ahead to fetch the child, she came downstairs alongside Christopher hand in hand

Grace ordered some children cloth for her, she was wearing a yellow ball gown and was looking really beautiful with her curly black hair

Christopher saw her and was in awe, he didn't take his time to notice how she looked last night, she looked really cute like a castle princess

he felt drawn to her, he had planned to pretend not to notice till the result of the test comes out which he hopes to be be negative

but now he couldn't help but feel warm at heart, she had a very beautiful smile just like Jane's smile and for some reason they seem to look alike

' it must because of the strong sense of attraction that he feels towards her ' he thought

' I must be going crazy to think everyone looks like Jane now ' he mocked himself in his mind

little Jane and Chris came outside and headed straight to Jane, even though Angel was gesturing for her to come to her so they could show them what a lovely mother and daughter they were, she didn't obliged

she followed Christopher instead

"hey mom is Jane going away already?" little Chris asked looking all disappointed, he already loved her and he didn't want to be far away from her

everyone felt emotional especially Rebecca, the two liked each other already

"well sweetie we don't know for sure but she might just come back" Jane explained to him

"but I don't want her to go, she's my little sister right, she's daddy daughter right?" Chris said hoping to convince his mother

everyone was stunned with what he said, they wondered how the boy knows the things he was saying but they didn't want to say anything in front of the children

but Angel was very happy, she liked the fact that ideas was starting to form in the mind of the children, but what she didn't like was how Chris was calling Christopher dad and acting like his child, she wondered what was going on

Jane bent down to meet up to his stature

"darling please keep yourself together, even if she doesn't come back you can always communicate over the phone, now take Jane and say hello to your daddy" Jane urged him

"okay mummy" Chris answered him

"come on Jane let's go say hello to daddy" Chris took her little hand in his little hand and took her to where Christopher was standing
