"well I don't have a problem with that as long as my mom doesn't have a problem with it, we can share my mom and dad" Chris said
"well that won't be possible because Jane already has a mom but I can be your second mummy but that has to be our secret okay?" Jane said
little Jane didn't seem so happy with it but she agreed at las, half bread is better than none
"okay kids I have to go get ready for work, I will get Thelma after" Jane said and zoomed off to the bathroom to take her bath
Jane finished bathing, she went straight to the closet but sadly she didn't have any clothes to wear, she didn't have Grace's phone on her new phone so there was no way for her to put a call through
she wore the sweater she pulled, she was going to see if there's anyone that can help her fetch new clothes at Grace's room
she came into the bedroom and surprisingly she met Grace sited with the kids playing a game on her phone
"oh good morning Miss Grace, I was just thinking of a way to reach you, I don't have any clothes to wear" she said
Grace looked up at her and she was stunned with what she saw
Jane saw the change in her expression "is anything wrong?" she asked her
"do you know you are wearing my brother's favourite sweater, what if he sees you with it, he's going to tear the house down" Grace panicked
"oh this, he gave it to me last night himself" Jane said but quickly regretted it, ' oh I shouldn't have said that now she's going to ask me questions ' she thought
"my brother gave you his favourite sweater, that's new and wait did you say last night and he gave you himself, so he was here in this room what was he doing here?" she questioned her
Jane instantly panicked and she stammered "well nothing special, he only came to see Chris and to be sure that the room was condusive enough that's all" she answered her
"and that was why he gave you the sweater?" Grace asked not buying her story
"uhmm eehmm well uhhmm I was a bit cold last night the AC was too much so he just gave me the sweater" she lied, she bit her lip, she was really not good at lying and she just hope she didn't see through her
even back at the orphanage whenever she and Cassie got into trouble and they lied, she was always threatened to tell the truth and like always she would tell the truth, Cassie would always tease her for it
"hmm okay if you say but it's really weird though, anyways I brought you something to wear, figured you might need it" she said handing it to her
"oh thank you very much, but you didn't have to add the heels" she said
"well I don't really wear flat shoes, you've taken all my flat shoes not like I'm not complaining infact I was not even wearing them, besides heels goes better with this outfit, it looks chic" she said
"hmm if you say so I will go get dressed now" Jane said and went ahead to get dressed in the closet
"yea you should go while I spend time with my beautiful and handsome nephew and niece, am I not just the luckiest aunt in the world, I have this cuties" she said and jokingly kissed them
the kids jumped up in excitement giggling, Grace chased after them and they both ran looking for a place to hide
Jane loved the scene before, this morning feels too good, she turned and made her way to the closet
she came back to the room looking all beautiful, she packed her hair in a ponytail, she didn't bring any of her things so she didn't have any make up, but she still looked beautiful
she had checked herself in the mirror she looked like a classy rich lady, she felt somewhat different today, she felt the need to look beautiful ever than before
she wanted to look beautiful, she had never really cared about those things before she just cared about working and taking care of her son
but this morning it was different, she searched her heart sincerely and thought of what the reason could be
she found out that it was because of her boss Christopher, she couldn't stop thinking of him either, at that moment she knew she felt something special for him and she liked this feeling cause it made her feel good
"you look beautiful Jane see I have good fashion sense" Grace complimented Jane and herself
"of course you do, you are a heiress and the most famous actress after all" Jane said
"stop teasing me girl" she teased her
"you know I'm saying the truth" she said
"uhmm miss Grace I have a favour to ask" Jane said shyly
"of course what's that?" Grace asked wondering what it was
"can you apply some make up on me?" Jane asked "just something simple" she added politely
"can someone please tell me what's up this morning, I feel like something is off tell me do have a date?" she asked her
"of course not I just want to compliment my look" she said
"which is very rare, are you sure you don't have a date?" she insisted
"no I really don't" she said
"okay okay let's get right to it" she said
"we really have to be fast, I have get to work very soon" Jane said
"no problem" she said
"kids Thelma will come attend to you guys soon okay" she said and the children nodded
