Chapter 116

Angel wasn't so satisfied with the room she was given, she was given a room at the extreme end of the hall, she wanted a room close to Chris's room but she didn't dare to complain, she needed to keep a cool head and gain the favour of everyone

she looked at little Jane with disgust, now she has to change the girl's cloth and even bath her, ' what a job ' she thought

she wished they were home, the maids would have taken care of her

"can't you bath yourself?" she asked but Jane didn't say anything she didn't even move she just stayed in the same position

"you know what, I know you are a dummy, and you can't even talk, which makes it the more interesting, but you see I'm so tired and I can't bath you, so just sleep okay?" she squatted behind her and said

Angel took out her cloth and went to the bathroom and took her bath, she came back to the room and changed into her night gown she completely ignored the little girl, she took out her phone and dialed a number

"hello my love" Carlos spoke from the other end of the phone

"how are you doing Carlos?" she spoke

"Carlos? is that how you address the love of your life?" Carlos teased her

"oh I'm so sorry, I'm just so tired, how are you my love?" she said reluctantly

"I'm good, how is the plan going?" he asked

"everything is going fine, we are in the mansion as we speak" she answered him

"and how is the girl?" Carlos asked

"oh she's fine, just there looking like a dummy as usual" Angel answered laughing softly as she glanced at little Jane who had already made her way to the chair

"I really can't wait for all the plans to just unfold, I can't wait to have you with me, kiss you and make love with you recklessly, I'm tired of us hiding all these years" Carlos complained

"oh don't worry my darling all in due time, we will together soon, I have to go my love, I need to speak with my father we will talk later, bye my love" she said

"bye darling" Carlos answered and hung up

Angel dailed her father's number

"hello father" she spoke

"are you guys in your room?" Jonas asked

"yes dad, what do I do now?" she asked

"nothing yet, just keep a close eye on Chris, I don't trust him with that girl" he said

"girl which girl?" she asked

"the girl on yellow gown this evening"

"oh father it's nothing, she's just his maid nothing more I have it all taken care of" she proudly said

"oh I heard he had a maid, I never knew she was the one, she's quite beautiful" Jonas complimented her

"oh dad please control yourself" she scolded him mockingly

"it's nothing new" Jonas defended

"whatever that's not why I called you, tell me what's the next thing we are going for the DNA test tomorrow we both know this girl doesn't belong to Chris the DNA test is going to expose us dad what do we do" she said

"there's no need to panic dear, everything will play out just fine, we will talk tomorrow morning, we can't risk being heard right now" Jonas instructed her

"alright dad, I just hope so, goodnight dad" she said and hung up

she held her phone to her chest and laid on her bed, her mind somewhat drifted to Chris, ever since she set her eyes on him at his welcome back party, she can't seems to get her mind off him

she keeps thinking about him day and night, even when they were together she never thought about him like this, she was in love with Carlos, she only dated him to piss Grace off back then

but then her father put her in his plan but this time it's different, she find it strange though but she wants to be around him

she convinced herself that it was because of the plan and she was just getting into character

she finally fell asleep after browsing the internet for hours without caring about little Jane

little Jane tried to sleep but she couldn't, she was hungry and her stomach was starting to hurt

she managed to find a stool she stood on the stool and opened the door with it, she got out of the room, she didn't know where she was going but she just wanted to find something to eat, she had finished the chocolate her nanny gave her

she made her way to the stairs but she was afraid to climb down on her own, she sat at the edge of the staircase, she felt helpless and abandoned and she couldn't help but cry, she sat there and wept silently

Jane finished bathing Chris, she read him a bed time story and he soon fell asleep

Jane also took a shower, she got into the closet but she didn't see anything to wear, she decided to wear one of Chris's shirt, it was chevon material, it was quite transparent but she didn't care she was going to sleep anyways

she laid on the bed and took the phone that Chris gave her this evening, she took out time and explored her new phone, she later got tired and dropped it

she wanted to sleep but she somehow fell restless, she just kept tossing and turning, she felt the need to leave the room, she opened her room door and stepped outside the room

she walked to the stairs and saw little Jane crying on the floor, she was stunned neither Angel or Chris were outside then what could she be doing outside all by herself she wondered

she sat beside her and tapped her, little Jane jerked up but she wasn't afraid rather a great sense of peace overwhelmed her, she has never felt it before and she smiled at Jane
