Now Kiss Me
Getting to her room seems like hours of travel to her. Her heart was seriously beating furiously.
She grabbed the phone at the end of her bed and phoned her mom immediately,
The woman's voice came at the other end and Jenny sighed,
"Mom"
She carried out,
"Are you okay?"
"Of course I am. Why do you sound like something happened? How is Susan?"
And HOW IS SUSAN question flicked something in her head and she cursed under hear breath,
"Let it not be what I am thinking?"
"Mom she is fine I guess, I just wanted to say good morning"
"Alright darling, take it easy, I am not going anywhere now, at least not now"
Jenny sighed,
"Of course mom, talk to you later, bye"
Dropping her hand from her face and sitting down, she heard a car drive in and by the sound it's Zain's car.
"I don't need to worry, Zain is coming from the hospital"
She assured herself, she wiped off every anxiety on her face and walked out of her room mastering a sweet smile.
It did not take Zain up to a minute to knock at the door.
"Good morning, handsome"
Jenny jumped at him after she opened the door which took Zain by surprise. He was expecting to see Owen but then he had not seen his car outside.
"Morning princess"
Zain greeted, raining kisses down her face. Zain saw the love in her eyes and told himself he is so lucky to get her back.
"Seems like someone missed me?"
Zain asked smirking,
Jenny rolled eyes,
"Don't be so full of yourself"
She mumbled and tried getting down from his body which he was not going to let her go without a morning kiss from her.
"You go nowhere without kissing me good morning"
"Geez, the neighbors will see us"
She said trying to avoid his lips on her mouth,
"Who cares, it doesn't look like I care a bit my dear. Now kiss me"
"Don't be pathetic Zain, at least have some privacy and get inside first"
Zain laughed at the serous expression on her face then closed the door behind. He pinned her against the wall,
"Now kiss me"
Jenny tilted her head and kissed him passionately. She just wanted to kiss him briefly but Zain maneuvered the moment and deepened the kiss.
By the time they broke away from the kiss, both were breathing heavily.
"I missed you"
Zain said, caressing her cheeks,
"I missed you too. I had to sleep in the cold last night and alone too"
She said, pouting her lips.
Zain chuckled at her cuteness,
"It wouldn't happen again"
He assured her.
He carried her and headed to her room, passing Owen's room, he saw it slightly open. That's when he remembered that he did not see his car outside.
"And Owen?"
With her face buried on his chest,
"I think he left. I am not sure."
"What do you mean he left?" He halted in his tracks, Jenny raised her face and stared at him for a while. His reaction did not just choose he is being worried, it is more than that.
"After you left, he left too and he did not return, I did not realize so until this morning because I slept early"
"Is that so and I am just learning about it"
Zain said angrily. He continued his journey to her room and dropped her on the bed then fished out his phone from his pocket and called Owen ASAP, his number entered voicemail and that angered him more.
"So you think you will run after sleeping with Susan?"
He smirked and tried the number again, same thing as the first.
Jenny watched him fumbling with his phone and frowning at the same time.
"Did something happen, Zain?"
She asked carefully, trying not to reveal emotions.
Zain inhaled then managed a smile,
"Nothing, I am just worried about his whereabouts. He did not tell me that he was going somewhere. I am afraid something might have happened to him"
Jenny knew that was a big lie. Owen can take care of himself so this is bullshit coming from Zain but she is not going to bug him further. Somewhere she is going to know what's up.
Zain's phone rang bringing him back to the present, Zain stared at the phone and after like five seconds he picked the call and the next second, the phone slid from his hand and shattered to the ground.
