Charlotte Reeves, a wealthy middle aged painter must face the reality of raising a troublesome 8 year old son alone after the divorce from her husband, Detective Jon. "I guess so," Chavez frowned. "But that's not all. You have to go down on your knee and say it."

"On my knees?" Jacobi stared at him. "I think you are on drugs or something. You can't possibly be serious right now. You want me to kneel down to apologize to you? What the hell is wrong with you dude? Who do you take me for?" Chavez laughed and turned to face Charlotte.

"Look at the people you keep around you and call your friends," he taunted her. "Can't even take a little insult for you." He turned back to face Jacobi and smiled sheepishly. "I'm joking anyways. I've forgiven you for now, just because of Charlotte. When we are done solving this puzzle, we have a lot of scores to settle."

"Seems you were not satisfied with just one slap," Jacobi smiled. "I would happily give you more, but as you rightly said, let's deal with more important issues first. Charlotte and the killer is our top priority for now."
