It's Not Your Fault, Mom

Penelope panicked for a moment when she woke up at 8 AM before remembering it was Sunday in this world and she didn't have to go to work. She was thrown off by the differing schedule. 

With nothing else to do, she decided to pay her mother a visit. Her transformation was shocking. Iris wasn't nearly as pale, the bags under her eyes were gone, and she seemed almost like she had before. 

When Penelope walked into the apartment, she was in the middle of making what looked like homemade cinnamon rolls. She looked up and smiled when she noticed her daughter. 

"Hey, Penny! Good to see you. Percy's still asleep—he hasn't been taking very good care of himself lately—but go ahead and sit down at the table while I finish these up," Iris said.
