In Another World with Absolute Awareness

Aventine Tidea was born with a gift. It was the gift of [Absolute Awareness], the ability to sense anything and everything with unimaginable detail. However, Earth seemed to lack the power to fuel his gift. He could only activate [Absolute Awareness] for half a second and with a cooldown period of one year. Nevertheless, Aventine did not find this odd. Instead, he followed his instincts. The [Gate]. Something he had sensed when he was a child. A one-way portal to another world.

Heromaker - I

[Name: Aventine Tidea]

[Level: 1]

[Health: 20/20 » 60/60]

[Mana: 280/280 » 320/320 (Core Mana: 150/150 » 300/300)]

[Physique: 2 » 6]

[Mind: 3 » 8]

[Spirit: 28 » 32]

[Traits: Power of the Sky (A-Rank), Power of the Sea (A-Rank), Power of Death (A-Rank), Blessing of Light (SS-Rank)]

With the <Sword of Light> fully unlocked and the <Blessing of Light> within my body, I began training other aspects of my existence.

Simply standing in the sunlight, like a plant undergoing photosynthesis, allowed me to strengthen my body. Sunbathing had become a part of my everyday life.

Light-attributed mana was honestly an unfair advantage. It was no wonder that Melia had such amazing physical abilities at her meager age.

However...

"It's too focused on the physique."

Light-attributed mana, by itself, only served as a supplement for the body. Given that all the past heroes had superhuman physiques, it made sense.

This was also why all of the past Heroes wielded cold weapons. None of them had become mages.

The main reason was the lack of light magic available in the world. With only a select few people with the ability to make use of light-attributed mana, there weren't many in the long river of history who became light mages.

The allure of getting a powerful body without any work was much too great.

Therefore, those with light mana generally opted for a more physical path to power.

On the other hand, Heroes generally died young in battle.

Since wizards and mages needed time to study, dying young was a horrible trait. It was no wonder light magic never became a thing. Divine Power and religion were instead the go-to for anyone who wanted similar abilities.

I couldn't help but become tempted by the possibility of cultivating this barren field of magic.

After all, although Divine Power looked similar to the light-attributed mana that the Heroes had used, they were fundamentally different.

Divine Power was granted by gods to those with great faith. It was a combination of willpower and a Trait.

In comparison, light-attributed mana was a force of nature and a Law of the universe. It was mana that governed the movement and behavior of photons.

Oh, the possibilities.

The caravan continued journeying forward after fleeing from that eruption of draconic aura. After a few days of travel, everyone had calmed down, judging that they had been able to distance themselves enough from harm.

How would they react if they learned that the <Wyrm With No Name> was currently sealed inside my sword?

It would be quite funny, to be honest. However, if I let that worm out, it would be hard to force it back into its seal.

I had to hold in my mischief.

"We haven't encountered any storms recently, so we have been making great progress, Young Master. We will be passing by the city of Judisc to restock. Supplies have been running low since we had to take a lot of detours."

Listening to Owen's report, I nodded my head. The next artifact I wanted, the <Blacksmith's 'Intradermal' Needles>, was located somewhere after Judisc City. Thus, there was no need to force our route elsewhere using a wall of stormy weather.

The horses seemed happier these days...

[Divine Branches Contributed: 4/42]

Sitting on the roof of my carriage and meditating in the sunlight, Aventine's appearance was picturesque, like a spring painting, soft, bright, and tranquil.

Opening his eyes, he observed the changes in his status.

Three Divine Branches were caught at the bottom of a river, noticeable only when Aventine drew near. After dispelling the veil that enshrouded their existence, he stored the three immeasurable treasures within the Gaea System.

Now, his <Growth > abilities had increased even further.

[Absolute Awareness].

Earth was entering a momentary lull. With the many Hunters acclimating to the new environment they found themselves in, they began to stabilize their situations.

Surprisingly, the Earth's strongest Hunters had stats as high as Aventine's Spirit. Although they still had difficulties concerning mana, mages had begun popping up here and there.

The mana that the many monsters released into the environment grew with many dying en masse. Their mana cores and the mana stones mined from the Gates also contributed to the mana density in the air.

Soon, magic would become widespread.

"They're growing like crazy..." Aventine shook his head.

Unlike his fellow Earthlings, he wasn't using the Gaea System to cultivate strength. Instead, he was using a different process entirely. The thick and abundant mana of the world he found himself in was the sole reason for that fact.

It was slow, however, its foundations were sturdy.

"The price for gaining so much power in such a short time..."

Aventine could already see the problems that could crop up. In just a month or so, Earth's Hunters had already gained enough strength to rival those who cultivated in this world for at least a year.

However, it was a necessary rush to power. If they had not done so, humanity would no longer exist on the blue planet.

One of the strongest Hunters at the moment was a man named Louis Hilves. Aventine could still remember the shock of witnessing his growth.

[Name: Louis Hilves]

[Level: 14 » 44]

[Health: 170/170 » 520/520]

[Mana: 30/30 » 90/90]

[Physique: 17 » 52]

[Mind: 16 » 69]

[Spirit: 3 » 9]

[Trait: Dragonic Pressure (A-Rank), Telekinesis (C-Rank), Spear User (D-Rank)]

"He's already much stronger than I am,"

Aventine found it incredible. A Mind stat of 69? He even had two <Traits > related to it. <Draconic Pressure> and <Telekinesis > looked like a lot of fun to have together.

"It also seems like Hunters can awaken their own <Traits >... Interesting..."

Aventine's eyes flashed. He looked into the prerequisites of doing so. However, his mana reserves were rapidly depleting as he did.

Mobilizing even the concentrated mana in his Mana Core, Aventine pried open the Gaea System's archives. He took the first file he could find and slipped away as his mana had been depleted.

"Hm..."

[Every ten (10) levels allows a Hunter to attempt an Awakening.]

This small line of information spoke a lot. Although it would probably be something that the Earthlings would be able to observe after studying the data, Aventine was satisfied to have this piece of information readily available to him.

"If someone could Awaken a <Trait > for each attempt, they would be a genius even beyond those that currently existed... If that's the case, then it makes sense."

No Hunter on Earth had been able to Awaken a <Trait > every single time. The best Hunters like Louis Hilves had a 75% Awakening rate at level 40, with all of them missing their level 10 Awakening.

"So... where does that put me?"

Aventine looked at his status.

[Traits: Power of the Sky (A-Rank), Power of the Sea (A-Rank), Power of Death (A-Rank), Blessing of Light (SS-Rank)]

He almost burst into laughter then and there. Luckily, he reined it in as he was still acting like a mysterious young master.
