"I did it!"
Becky exclaimed, excitement boiling inside of her. How long had she been trying to do this? She had honestly lost count. Knowing this was the first step to becoming a mage but had almost seemed impossible for her had almost devastated her, one could only imagine how excited she was after succeeding.
Alex smiled and nodded, by now he was the only one sitting close to Becky since Zero had left a while ago.
"Good, keep it going until you feel full," Alex told her.
Becky nodded and immediately went back to absorbing mana with great enthusiasm.
But a few hours into absorbing mana, Becky realized that it was not as easy as it seemed. With the speed she was absorbing mana into her soul galaxy, it would take her a day if not days to fill it up before carrying on with the next step.
