In front of him were six men armed with swords, mace, blades, and spears, their faces hidden by black hoods with golden edges. Their gazes were wary, sizing Kane up, but the confidence of having the numerical advantage propelled them forward slowly.
One of them, a tall, burly man with a curved sword, broke the silence with a harsh laugh.
"One man against six? You don't know when to surrender, do you?"
Kane did not respond. His eyes quickly scanned each of his enemies, calculating their movements and measuring their distances. Besides, his partner hid nearby in case he couldn't handle all this alone.
