Becoming an Immortal

From unknown eternities,

Earth was inhabited by humans. They lived, created their civilizations and at the end of it, they all were destroyed by unforeseen events. This cycle continued for aeons.

But, this all changed when two worlds collided with the earth. The first world was the asura world inhabited by the demons and the second world was the world of Swarga which was inhabited by the devas.

They both invaded the lands of the earth in search of treasures. At that time, the people on earth had no way of stopping their advances. The main reason the two worlds invaded earth was because of a prophecy, the prophecy made by their supreme god which stated that the earth had special nectar called Amruta. The nectar allowed one to live forever by drinking just a single drop of it. Both demons and the devas began to search for the nectar of immortality But, even after searching for ages, they were still unable to locate it.

As they were losing hope, the supreme God sent his message stating,

"I can sense the nectar of immortality inside the ocean…. You all have to churn the ocean to obtain it…"

After hearing the location of the nectar, both asuras and devas started to churn the sea. To avoid conflict during the churning process, asuras and devas came to an agreement to search for the divine nectar of immortality together. As they churned the sea… Different treasures came out of the sea.

Some of them went to the devas while others went to the asuras. At last, the final item was revealed. It was a pot filled with divine nectar. As soon as the asuras saw the divine nectar, greed flashed in their eyes as they took the pot and ran towards the entrance of the demon world. But, the devas found out and started to give chase. Soon, the king of devas, Indra tried to snatch the divine nectar. But, the king of asuras was in no way inferior to Indra. They both started to fight for the pot of divine nectar. In the process, the pot filled with the divine nectar tilted and four drops of divine nectar dropped on the earth.

But, unknown to them, a fifth drop also dropped on earth. The drop was really small, unnoticeable to the eye.

Inside the deep mountains of the Himalayas, Ram was lying on lush green grass. He liked the soothing feeling while lying on the grass because he was only able to see the grass for 2 months of the year. He wanted the season of spring to never end.

While he was looking at the birds in the sky, suddenly, a golden glowing thing dropped from the sky and directly entered his mouth.

"Cough … Cough…"

Ram began to choke as he tried to spit out the thing that he just swallowed but he was unable to.

Suddenly, he felt a warm current inside his belly. Before he could guess, the warm current spread across his whole body.

"So warm…!"

Ram felt really comfortable from the inside. Unknown to him, his body was glowing golden from the effects of the liquid.

He felt like he was on soft clouds and everything in front of him blurred as Ram fell asleep on the grass. While he was sleeping, A voice came from the sky,

"Oh what luck does this little human have… he was able to drink the immortal liquid that even the gods covet… The wheels of fate will definitely change because of him…!! Hahaha… "

And the voice faded from the sky. On the other hand, Ram continued to sleep for ages to come. Unknown to him, his body started to slowly absorb the nectar. His height started to change from a regular 5'8" to 6'5". All his muscles became jade-like and well defined. His body colour also changed from pale to white like a baby.

On a certain day,

Ram's eyes suddenly opened. He discovered that he was lying on the same grass that he remembered. Little did he know that almost 10,000 years had passed.

He tried to get up and to his surprise as soon as he applied a little pressure to the ground, the ground sank like mud. Unprepared, Ram fell headfirst onto the ground.

"Cough Cough…. What the hell…"

Then he looked at his arm, he got a big scare. His arm was completely white. He hurriedly looked at the rest of his body, and to his surprise, his entire body turned white.

"What happened to me…?"

Ram looked through his memories and remembered that he ate something while lying on the grass.

"Oh my God…! "

As he was thinking about how to solve his problems, he heard a sweet voice coming from the foot of the mountain,

"Big sis, do you think we can wake up our ancestor…?"

The voice sounded a little anxious. The woman beside the young girl said,

"I don't know Diti… I hope we can wake him up… otherwise, there would be no way…"

The voice of the woman stopped as she looked at Ram who was staring at them from the top of the mountain. At first, the woman was scared because of Ram's appearance, but after thinking for a while, she hastily rushed toward Ram and bowed,

"Ancestor…!"

The young woman also followed behind her and bowed respectively,

"Ancestor… we need your help ancestor… Please help us…!!"

Ram could see tears coming down the little girl's cheeks. He asked concerningly,

"What happened…?"

"It's the people of the Fire God sect. They invaded our frozen moon palace and wanted to annihilate us… our sect master was also injured during the battle… help us Ancestor… buhuhu…"

The little girl started crying after recounting the whole incident to Ram. but, Ram looked a little confused, Fire God sect? Frozen moon palace? What are these?
