Chapter 9

“I’m getting used to having you around. You brighten up my place.” He leaned into the caress.

“I like being around your place. It was almost mine, you know.” Anthony was surprised to hear the man. Hear wasn’t really accurate. The impression of his voice was more in his head than through his ears. Still, he knew the voice matched the rest of the guy, a gentle and very sensuous quality.

“Why can I hear you now, but couldn’t before?” He realized the contact must have something to do with that.

“I don’t know. You’re very handsome—the other guy here thinks so, as well.” Martin looked off to the side.

Anthony followed his gaze and thought he noticed a shimmering in the air, similar to that when Martin first appeared. He chuckled. “I must be popular with the spirit world to have two come to visit my home.”

Martin broke the contact and faded, much to Anthony’s disappointment. He loved the looks of the man, and now the sound of him, as well.
