Chapter 6

His art work became popular when he did a series of paintings two years before, capturing the impression of people he remembered from his dreams. It was that dreamlike quality of the works that captivated the hearts of his followers. Since his day suddenly opened up, Anthony decided he would paint the man from his dream, Martin. He walked once more to the hallway and the deacon’s bench, but there was nothing. He wondered again if his mind was playing tricks on him after seeing the aftermath of the accident, so soon after finding his partner’s body.

Anthony had already decided which room would be his studio slash office. He had his supplies placed there by the movers. It didn’t take him long to do his sketches and roughs of the man from the dream. He knew this was the one in the collision, as well. He wondered briefly if there was any significance to the name he heard in his dream. He set to work and lost track of time.
