“Hello, Agnes, problem with that patch? You seem to spend a lot of time working on that spot in your garden.”

“Oh hello, Anthony, I guess there is something about this flower bed that I can’t get quite right. I’m not sure why, but I’ll get it eventually.”

“Agnes, this is a lady I’m working with on a big project. Tina Roy, meet Agnes…what is your last name by the way?”

“Tremont, Agnes Tremont, it is a pleasure to meet you, dear.”

Surprised by the silence, Anthony turned to Tina who had a blank expression on her face. She gazed in the direction of the conversation, but not looking at exactly where Agnes stood. He whispered, “Oh for goodness sake, you can see her, can’t you? Please, tell me she isn’t another spirit.”

“I’m sorry Anthony, but I don’t see or hear anyone but you. Why can you see and talk with her? You said you could only hear Martin once he touched you, and you can’t hear the other spirit at all. It must be wonderful to have whatever gift it is.”
