Now that I could finally settle down a bit and had a proper hold on everything. I have no idea how that got so hectic so fast, but still.
Probably the fact I decided to rob an entire nation of goods and skill books might be a part of it. That and deprive people of various useful subordinates. Well and my general love of chaos.
Right now I was looking at my world travel list. I had quite a few spaces open since I absorbed the tailed beasts and got Hagoromo's inheritance.
Boosted my power levels by a bit.
Still, I wanted to slow down just a tad bit.
Hmm, alright then let's see.
Clicking through the world I knew I stopped on a certain one. Made a couple of Adjustments and then clicked enter.
My body turned golden and then I found myself in an entirely new area. In front of me was a golden temple, there was a plinth in the center with a brown book on top.
"So this is it huh?" I walk up to the book and grab it, I make a dagger with my matrix before poking my finger and dropping a splash of blood on it.
"Dunno what is it with cultivators and needing to bind things with blood." I mutter as notification go off.
[Foreign entity binding with users soul. Scanning...non-sentient. Artifact. Contains time and space distortions, contains storage of souls, contains anti-aging environment, contains storage space, contains soul binding abilities, contains soul nourishing abilities. Threat level to user...zero.]
The book vanishes and I can feel it contained in my soul. I had gotten pretty used to sensing my soul with not only the rinnegan but my ghost body.
[Temporal Demon Spirit book bound to host.]
You see the problem with my multiverse travel is that I don't get the knowledge of the worlds I go to besides the basic understanding of the language. So if I want to for example tempt someone from a new world with skills or abilities then I would need to learn those skills and abilities myself.
Just like the original Nie Li from Tales of Demons and Gods, I would have to study. Luckily this item had apparently a massive library and time dilation inside of it. Good for me eh? Apparently Nie Li spent millions of years inside studying, but was still a fucking idiot.
I snatch up the golden temple because I fucking can before entering the internal world.
I appear in the lab before opening a portal to the library inside of the demon spirit book. "Amelia if you could have the robots scan everything inside, I would like for the plants and materials to be categorized and thier uses and made into a type of compendium I can use with my communicator to scam things. Books on new languages and how to read them, cultivation techniques and if those could be optimized that would be great. Then the various alchemy and enchantment skills put into books simplifying them and how to learn them, kind of like how we are doing with sealing from the Naruto world." I request.
"Right away master." A more humanly female voice responds. She had picked up that master stuff because almost everyone called me it here in he base besides Stella who called me Darling.
Hundreds of little drones fly out of a machine into the library which seems to stretch on forever and start to grab books and scan them rapidly.
While that's going on I step back out of the internal world and look around. My new eyes can see for hundreds of miles, lucky that because I have no idea where the fuck I'm at.
It doesn't take me long to find glory city, however I'm not looking for that place, I'm looking for the Ancient Orchid City in the books because I fucking know there is treasure there and im fucking poor.
See the problem with my multiverse travel to places like this, is that I have no money, and no general knowledge, no cultivation technique, nothing but the clothes on my back and the crap in my internal world.
Well that and some basic knowledge I had gotten from the books I had read.
So I knew about mounds of treasure under the ancient city.
It only took me a second to appear above the ruined city and another second to use my eyes which could see through the ground to find various treasures and traps.
Landing on the ground I flip up my palm and the earth and rocks move showing literal mounds of gold, armor, weapons, jewelry, scrolls, and other items.
I quickly throw together my own personal treasure vault world and grab the lamp off a pedestal before dumping everything else through a portal.
Inside is a shadow devil with god level growth rank. I suck it into a sealing jar.
[Shadow Devil can be turned into a summon.]
Something with sickle like claws, can move through the shadows and become void like to avoid damage? Yes please.
I'll probably have to raise it up as it's incredibly weak at the moment but still.
I also don't need it as a demon spirit because I can do the same thing in my ghost form. So a new pet is nice.
Now then, I scan the surroundings and find 4 coffins I can't see through, North, East, South and West.
i float put of the treasury and arrive above the first and open up a hole to it.
"If I recall these had temporal spirit pages and a necklace inside." making my way forward I make another jar and push the lid off the coffin. There is a burst of energy that explodes out of the coffin and gets sucked into the jar and sealed. I can't currently absorb this energy as i don't have a cultivation manual or know how or if i can. But it would be a waste to let this energy just disperse into the air.
Inside the coffin is indeed a piece of paper and a strange necklace that look like it had a nebula of stars inside of it. I don't remember how much the necklace increases cultivation speed but I know it increases it, and increases it passively.
As for the page, its sucked into my body and combines with the temporal demon spirit book.
I make my way to the other 3 coffins which probably form some kind of array or something and get 3 more pages and 3 more necklaces.
However that isnt the end of my tomb raiding adventure, there are other pockets hidden around containing various treasures like spatial rings, books, bones of dead people with items on them. That kind of stuff is littered through the underground ruins and I raid them all. Dead people don't need spatial rings after all.
