My First Step For Surviving

I woke up by the Sun rays falling on my face, I stretched my body once and when to the bathroom for doing the morning route.

After I got ready, I stuffed a knife in my breast as a pregnant woman can't stuff it in the thighs, anyway I looked in the mirror to see myself.

" God plz, Let that vampire king believe me, just once, plz.

I am sure he won't kill his wife but still, he is the main cause of everyone going insane at the end".

I sighed!!

I went to his study by asking directions from the maids, the maids looked like they saw a ghost, I am sure cause of my behavior as Cordelia won't do such things.

By direction difficulties, I, at last, reached his office, I knocked on the door and I heard a " come in". Karl looked surprised with my visit but then he smirked.

I was disgusted with it.

Karl said, " so, what brought you here Cordelia, this early in the morning".

I said, " I needed to talk to you about something Karl ".

I saw a look of surprise on his face, as I am sure Cordelia used to address him as Karl Sama, dear, and Ew stuff.

He said, " what do you want to talk about ??".

I said," I wanted to ask you to tell me about the past, recently I am having a few shards of memories like when I did some bad stuff and all, so I wanted to know about the past and can you tell me who I am ??".

Karl looked serious, then he said " okay, I would tell you. first, you are the demon king's daughter, you were in love with me when we met at the demon king's party, and we decided to marry, and it's been 5 years since our marriage, and know you are pregnant".

Like that Karl told me all the stuff, even the bad and good when he finished the story. I totally looked depressed Karl was surprised by this.

I said, " thank you, Karl, for telling me ". With that I blended down to the floor bowed my head ( I have seen in manga and anime this way to ask for forgiveness ) and said

"I AM SORRY FOR THE THINGS I HAVE DONE AND THE TROUBLE I HAVE CAUSED TO YOU AND THE OTHERS,

PLEASE FORGIVE ME".

this shocked Karl that Cordelia is sorry and to me and all and even bowing, he raised from his chair and came to me and pulled me to stand, but I stayed in that position and said " first you forgive me, then I would get up".

He said," you shouldn't bend in this condition and I accept you're apologise now get up".

I smiled happily and said," thank you Karl for forgiving me, what you did make me happy. I should get going to apologize to others in the mansion, bye."

As I said that I ran to the door and was about to exit, he said " do not run in that condition".

I happily nodded and said "okay".

KARL'S POV

I sat in my chair after Cordelia left in that happy mood, this is the first time I have seen her genuine smile and the happy mood.

I am not sure if she is up to something but it looks like she did change, she even apologized, I think this would have been the first.

Now I am interested in her, she has gained my interest, now how she going to apologize to others. With a smirk on his face, he said," I am looking forward to the new Cordelia. Hahaha..."
