For a few days, his family ate well. But he himself couldn't bring himself to touch the food.
John tried to open his mouth to say something, anything to persuade or at least console the older farmer, but no words came out of his mouth.
He finally sighed and said, "Okay. We will leave farming."
The brothers and all the other farmers looked at their leader with shock. They did not expect him to leave the matter so easily.
