I Was Transmigrated As An Extraordinary Extra

Adelaine Hammond transmigrated inside her own unfinished novel. New identity, new world, new everything. She became Remillia Lockhart, a character she didn't know of. In simple terms, an extra. She became an extra in her own novel. She became a Hero, fighting monsters, making enemies, and also why is she having love interests?? However the novel she once wrote of is becoming different and more strange. The Monsters are more stronger, new enemies, series of events that she did not even write, and how come she's getting stronger than the original MC's? She must find a way to survive and get out of this damned novel.

Chapter 07

The ability to wield mana was considered the highest form of power. Those gifted with the ability to harness the elements could imbue mana into their own weapon and can make the weapon more sturdier and stronger.

Daggers are still an excellent choice of weapon but it was only for ordinary humans who are born without mana. As humans who lack mana, the world was a much harsher place to live. They are forced to rely on weapons that can't be imbued with mana and train harder than the Heroes.

As for Heroes and other jobs that have mana, they don't choose daggers. That was because no matter how much you imbue mana into it, nothing will happen, it only has limited power so basically it is a useless weapon for the Heroes.

Heroes choose their weapon depending on their foundation so if the weapon you're choosing are rare, the weapon's grade will also be higher.

There are 5 class to determine how rare the weapon is;

Common → Rare → Legendary →Mythical → Ultimate

The weapon who has the longest history was the sword so basically some of the ultimate weapons were remained hidden in Dungeons, Towers, or portals that suddenly appear anytime in the world. These weapons can only be obtained by a hero who is an expert in wielding swords.

Weapons with the oldest origin can also help Heroes who are stuck in their class grade and can help them break through.

"Remillia..."

"Yes?"

Jude looked at me weirdly as he turned on the tablet[1] he was carrying before typing something.

He looked back and forth to the tablet and me. To be precise, he was looking at the weapon I'm holding.

"Isn't your main weapon a bow?"

"I want to try another weapon."

"...After coming all the way here?"

"Yes."

Jude Moonhamn like to say more but stopped himself.

'I should have chosen bow and arrow... Oh well, there's no use crying over spilled milk.'

"Cadets such as yourselves can make their own decisions and us, instructors, respect your choice. But remember, your choice, your responsibility."

He turned his back on me as he went to the podium. I thought it stopped there but I was wrong.

"Dagger really? Pfft."

"I would have dated her if only she's using her brain."

"Now that's what they call beauty without brains."

"Useless. She shouldn't have come here if all she wants to be an assassin."

I would have yelled at them as they had the nerve to talk just behind my back, it turns out they were just snickering and whispering while giving me a side glance.

They were far away from me yet I could hear their voices loud and clear.

'Oh, wow. My gift. Amazing.' I sarcastically thought in my head.

After you've passed the entrance exam of Glacial Sphere, all cadets would try various weapons to discover the one that matched their Gift. It was to find the weapon that suited their Gift. But a Gift wasn't needed to use daggers. It was like a child's toy for them because it was the first weapon they practice when they were still a child.

"You still have time to change the weapon you chose but only for today. No matter what your choices are, all of you will still go through the same training, trials, and combat. This implies that if you ever fail, it was your choice of weapon."

Jude announced while looking my way.

He didn't even tried to hide it!

If only I can say to them that 'Hey, I'm not from this world. Can I skip class? I don't know how to fight.'

I don't have any other choice. While some of them are already training their @ss of since the moment they were born. I was in my real world creating this d@mn novel.

I was different. I don't know how to aim, I'm not a master in bow & arrow but at least I know how to use the dagger since I enrolled myself in a Martial Arts School for self defense.

"One by one, step in front as we will be assigning your rooms. Your personal belongings will also be sent there. Keep in mind that it will be co-ed dorms[2] so I trust that you have good judgement and not mess things up. Also, class starts next Monday. That's all, you're free to go."

Jude gave me one last look of pity.

D@mn this instructor.

Co-ed[2]: students of different genders can live on the same floor or in the same dorm. Co-ed dorms may separate genders by floors or wings, or some colleges mix things up, with female and male roommates living next door or across the hall from each other.
