A child covered in dirt from head to toe, his beautiful white hair tainted brown with dust. Red eyes with sullen eye bags and scrawny cheekbones. His limbs thin like stick as if he would break just with a single step from someone. He looked fragile and broken. In his crimson red eyes the face of a handsome man was reflected, the scene as vivid as if it had happened only yesterday. The handsome man held out his hand towards the child. His lips moved to say something to the child.
"Take my hand." His warm voice spoke.
"Sor.... That will be your name from now."
This memory was a beautiful yet sad recollection for the child.
A small body floated in the domain of the abyss. His eyes were closed. A sparkling teardrop hung at the corner of his eyes.
Before him, another figure could be seen standing. He wore a red crown on his head. Looking at the unconscious boy he couldn't help but feel sympathy for him.
"I gave you life but you almost threw it away." He spoke, leaning closely to look at the boy's pitiful state. "Betrayal is the most fatal poison to humankind. Finding the cure is up to you."
It was a bit of a pain in the ass for him. He ended up making an appearance in a world where gods should never intervene.
"Since I gave you life, I will sustain it until you wish for death no more."
In the dark abyss a boy was sent to somewhere far away. If he was discovered a new chapter of his life might begin.
The man with the red crown disappeared after sending him off.
"Uwaaahhhhwahhh!!" Early in the morning the cry for hunger was heard. Risha sucked onto her mother's breast even though she was making an expression as if she hated it. She was having her meal earnestly.
"Omg. She is so cute!" Rasheed couldn't help but squeal whenever he saw his darling daughter. Although she was just a baby, she was so adorable and lovely. He stared at her round chubby cheeks. Unable to resist himself he stretched his hand to poke the squishy cheek with his finger.
SLAP!!!
His daughter slapped away his finger. "Our babay Risha is so adorably sassy, isn't she?" He couldn't help but think to himself. His daughter didn't liked being touched on her cheek. She also didn't liked being held in their arms for too long. Nonetheless she was still their lovely daughter.
"..." Rius ignored his father playing with Risha as he tried to poke her cheeks again and again. Instead he turned his head towards his elder brothers. They have returned just a few days ago. He didn't knew where they had went off to, so he was extremely curious. Father might tell him if he used his charms to get an answer out of him but it was precisely at times like this when he should turn to his brothers.
"...." How could the three boys not know after noticing the expression their little brother was making. The eldest, Rimius, stood up from his seat ready to escape.
With shinny eyes, "Brother Rimius, I have something to ask."
Rimius immediately sat down on his chair again. Beside him, Raputa had already slipped away without being caught.
"Come to think of it, I forgot to wash my underwear last night. Hahaha! Foolish me. I should do it now. Hahaha!" Rahad laughed loudly as he tried to make an exit for himself.
Just as he was about to step down he saw Rius stare at him with puppy eyes.
"Pang!" It hit him hard. So hard that he retracted his legs back into place.
Rius smiled at his brother. "Brother Rahad, you should not keep your underwear washed for too long."
On contrary to what he had expected, Rahad was surely taken aback by his younger brother's words. So, he was allowed to leave? He thought to himself. "Right....hahaha.... I should go and wash it." As soon as he was given the permission to do so he fled from the scene.
SORRY BROTHER RIMIUS, BUT WE DONT STAND A CHANCE AGAINST HIS CHARMS!
The two fleeing brothers could only leave the rest to their eldest brother.
Rius got down from his chair. Then he sat down on the chair beside his brother. Setting down himself comfortably he finally turned to his brother. "Brother Rimius, where did you go to last time? I missed you all so much."
Rimius sweated heavily. Averting his eyes he paused before giving Rius an answer.
"We...had some work outside."
Outside? Rius who was reborn in this world didn't knew anything about this world. So he was curious to know about the world he was living in right now. Having knowledge about something was better than having none of it. Also for some reasons the library that his mother has introduced to him had no information about this world. His family has never spoken a word about the outside world either. So Rius was curious to know why they were being so secretive about a lot of things. Although he was sure that he will find out about everything once be turns eight but be still wanted to sniff out a little bit of information he could. There was no harm in doing so.
Rius was witty and smart. Rimius knew this for a fact, that his younger brother knew how to play the cards. But he was obedient most of the time. Yet whenever something piqued Rius's interest he was the type to scoop out some information from them, aka, him, Raputa and Rahad. The three of them were victims to his charms everytime.
But how could they even help! Specially when their Rius was so cute.
Thankfully there was someone who could keep Rius in check.
From the corner of her eyes Rimilia noticed her eldest son's conflicted expression and her youngest son's puppy eyes. She knew that Rius was probably using his charm to get something out of Rimius. Letting out a small sigh she handed Risha over to Rasheed before walking towards them.
"Rius, behave. And you, Rimius. Go and attend the job that was given to you by your father."
Wuwuwu. Thank you mother for coming to my rescue. Rimius rejoiced happily as he escaped away from Rius.
Meanwhile Rius decided to turn to his mother. "Mom, what job are you talking about?" He asked innocently.
Taking him in her arms she pulled his cheeks lightly. It was so soft and tender. "You naughty little child. Your brother will be overseeing the job of a keeper. He has to recreate our gold into weapons so that we can sold it outside. I know you are curious. But, for now enjoy your days as a carefree child."
Blinking his eyes innocently, "But mother isn't knowing about the world outside better than not knowing of it?"
"You will know about everything eventually. For now, I hope you won't ask about it again."
His mother had a troubled expression on her face. Rius noticed this. He blinked his eyes once. Maybe it was a little bit complicated. Be thought to himself.
"Okay mommy. I will do as you say."
Rimilia laughed happily seeing her son's lovely smile.
Surely his family must not be normal.
So first, he must find out how large was the expanse of the ocean surrounding their island.
Rius continued to explore the domain of the ocean the following days.
His eyes suddenly spotted something floating in mid air.
"A boy?"
