Chapter 3: Disabling the Power of the Alchemist

In the end, I returned a small amount of money to the hero, Grathias, from my own funds.

It's terrible, isn't it?

With this, I have zero money.

Thanks to my magical powers, dangerous monsters are rendered immobile, so everyone is safe.

I thought the guild would be pleased with me for that and conducted the experiments and restraints, but instead, I was expelled. It's so unfair.

Normally, this wouldn't benefit the country, but since I've been expelled, I decided to remove it.

If you say I'm useless, then I'll remove it too.

"Phew, it feels easier now. I've been constantly activating the barrier magic, so it was tough. I was using an enormous amount of magical power all the time."

When I was with the hero's party, I couldn't do anything because I had the barrier magic constantly activated.

I used an unbelievable amount of magical power.

The heroes didn't seem to understand that and treated me as an outcast.

Once the magic was dispelled, the amount of magical power I had been using for 24 hours surpassed the combined magical power of adventurers from all the countries on the continent.

It's dangerous, you know. Even I didn't expect to use this much magical power.

If it weren't for that, activating the barrier magic would have been impossible. The Guild Master didn't understand any of this, proving that they are nothing more than amateur adventurers in my eyes.

I can predict what will happen next. I have released dozens of S-rank and A-rank monsters from restraint.
