The knights removed their cloaks which were taken by servants and they took up seats at the table closest to the king and the two others he had brought with him.
Warm tea was placed in front of each of the men. When asked if they would prefer beer or ale, all politely declined.
Henry and Earl Auden were formally introduced and the knight was given a quick overview of the Earl's standing in Chemois. The nobility of Chemois was small but they were very rich. Earl Auden's wealth came from generations of mining, while the Duke of Tenetium's wealth came from commanding the Knights of Chemois and successfully taking down many monsters.
The doors to the meeting hall were sealed and the king felt he could continue with the discussion.
