Excellent choice

"I'm sure you have questions… So I'll get straight to the point…" Artoria gently sat down on the bed beside Ha Joon, the teacup carefully placed on the side table.

The difference was very evident; while Artoria had been sipping her tea, Ha Joon had already gulped his down his throat.

Artoria continued,

"Every kid at some point in their life dreamed of meeting a hero they idolized. I am no exception."

Ha Joon listened as she spoke, his eyes subconsciously gazing down at her thick thighs, exposed under her short dress.

Who knew the King of Camelot would have so much cake under her armour.

"My father once told me about a great prophecy that would occur during my training to become a king. He said, during the time my kingdom falls, and my people doubt their king, a savior will fall from the heavens and restore the honor I had lost, tenfold".

'Ah boy, I can see where this is going'.

"And so, when I saw you, I felt it. A connection to that very story my father told me about. My doubts were cleared when Excalibur took a liking to you, which says a lot because Excalibur never does that".

Ha Joon smiled nervously, "So you think…I'm this prophecy?".

"Do you doubt?" Artoria leaned forward.

'Of course I doubt. I've not done anything worth writing home about in my 19 years of living, and now all of a sudden I'm supposed to be a prophecy, to save your kingdom?'.

Ha Joon gulped down his saliva, looking to the side nervously, "I am just a normal boy from far away, trust me, I am nothing special whatsoever".

The expression on Artoria's face changed to a sad one almost instantly.

"I see." She said as she leaned back, "Forgive my lack of courtesy. I am desperate, cowardly, but I'm left with so little choice".

'Come to think of it, why would the greatest king in history be in need of someone's help to rule her kingdom? …. Is this some kind of sick alternate joke?'.

Suddenly, Artoria began again-

"The first time I pulled Excalibur from the ancient rock, I was merely 16 years of age, I had trained my whole life for it. Those who were to be worthy of pulling the blade needed to be pure of heart, virgins and born from royal blood. I fell into those categories, I pulled the sword and won many battles, killed many gods, I was the child of terror, next in line to rule the kingdom".

She took a deep pause.

"I was doing well, so well people around the castle knew I was going to be a very good king. Or so I thought, when it came to defending my people, no one did it like I did, but my knowledge on building a kingdom was so limited, I barely knew what to do, combat was the only way I knew to serve my people. I couldn't ask for help since the other knights view me as someone above all failures and so on. I felt like I was not worthy to wear the crown, my father did a better job, I knew that… and yet…".

"And yet you feel you can't live up to the expectations your father had placed on the royal throne." Ha Joon completed.

Artoria instantly looked at him.

"I get it. Heck, I know what it feels like to not have any hope of doing anything over some shitty expectations from people." Ha Joon sighed a bit.

"You do?".

"Well yeah, I was a loser in my former world, trust me, I get it." Ha Joon smiled at her.

For a second there, Artoria seemed confused at his words. 'Former world?' What does he mean by that?

"Arrgh, this is actually happening. There won't be any point saving a kingdom when the people within are dying already." Said Ha Joon as he stood up from the bed and stood in front of Artoria.

'Perhaps this was why I was sent to another world. So I could help the King of Camelot. Eh? Or perhaps I've been a loser for so long, it just feels good knowing I can actually help someone… Basically, I don't have to be a loser in this world'.

"Your highness." Ha Joon called out, "I don't know anything about this prophecy and I don't know if I can truly be of help, but I will tell you a secret, yes, I'm different from the people here. I am from a different world, the future,"

"Future?".

"Yes".

"Futu-"

"Yes".

"Fu-"

"Yes".

"You have the magic to travel through time?" Asked Artoria, genuine surprise on her face.

"No, not really, I died and was sent back here to help you sustain your kingdom." Ha Joon had a serious look on his face, "So will you let me help you?".

From the future? Could this man be a god in human form? Or perhaps he simply lies and does not acquire such. These thoughts swarmed Artoria's head.

A small smile played on Ha Joon's lips when he could see the doubt on her face.

'You leave me with no choice.'

Swiftly, he reached for his pocket and pulled out his phone, stretching the screen towards her as he yelled, "Behold, my equipment from the future!!!".

Artoria's eyes widened as soon as she saw the glowing screen. Is this magic? Why has she not seen an artifact like this before?

Soon, her surprised expression gave way for embarrassment as her eyes twitched a bit.

Ha Joon noticed this and was confused. He had expected her to be more shocked, not this expression that she was giving.

Curious, he turned the screen of the phone towards his face and he was immediately greeted by the picture of a porn star with three black dudes pressing their dick on her face.

'Eh? When did i….'

Before he could finish his thought, Artoria spoke.

"Alright, I accept." She said in a low voice, her eyes on the ground so Ha Joon couldn't see her face.

"Uhn? What do you-?...."

"You can help me rule this kingdom! I'd really appreciate it!!!" Artoria yelled, her face flushed with embarrassment from what she had just seen, but as a king, she felt she should be stronger than that.

A grin instantly showed on Ha Joon's face, "Dope, excellent choice your majesty".
