Chapter 7

"You look nice Delphyne. A lot shorter than the last time I seen you." Delphyne frowned, walking in front of me holding her arm in front of me. "What are you doing here Phoenix...?" She said, with a amount of anger and bass I never heard in her voice before.

He held his arms out at his side, "I see no other reason I'd be here." He smirked, clenching his fists, flames engulfing them. "For a rematch." She tilted her head down, her eyes losing the sparkle. Wow, the two must have some huge and long history. "I thought our first fight would've taught you a lesson..." She whispered, her hands turning into claws. He got in a stance. "Well it won't go the same. While you were sealed, I was training, learning new tricks." He said.

I blinked looking down at Delphyne. "Stay. Back. Hooder. He is way out of your league." I nodded stepping back. "And who's the boy? Your boyfriend?" She jumped, trying to not let that distract her from the situation. I blush a bit. "N-No..." She said, her cheeks glowing pink. "Don't get any ideas.. I won't let you anywhere near him.."

He smirked, "Come at me Delphyne!!"

The Phoenix shouted zipping towards Delphyne. Her eyes widened as she zipped forward aswell. Their fist clashed. The shockwave from the clash pushed me to the ground. "Whoa.." Then the two took to the sky.

The two began to exchange punches and kicks. The Phoenix smirked as he was able to land a clean hit to Delphyne's cheek, pushing her back. He then kicked her chest pushing her further back. He then performed a uppercut, sending her farther into the sky. She grunted. Electricity sparked around her hands, as the Phoenix flew towards her. He suddenly stopped, as she pushed him back with the electricity telekinesis.

As he was falling down, she flew down and landed a punch to his gut, making them go down at a faster rate. The Phoenix looked back, and then landed a kick to her side, knocking her away. The force from the kick made him spin horizontally. He flew up right, looking towards her. He held his hand out and drew his arm back, creating a fire bow and arrow.

Delphyne did a flip to recover, as she flew back towards. He smirked and let the arrow of flames fly. Her eyes widened, as the arrow came towards her. She flew upward, dodging the arrow. She then cloated her arms in electricity. She aimed them upward and slammed them down, a blast of electricity raced towards The Phoenix. He watched as it came towards him. He put his hands outward, a firey shield surrounding him. One the blast came into contact with the shield, it caused a explosion.

Hooder watched from below, with a blank expression. "This is amazing. I never seen a battle like this before!"

The Phoenix swiped the smoke away, his suit ripped a little. He looked around, as a sudden punch landed on his cheek, sending him flying back. Delphyne flew after him. As The Phoenix was flying back, he held his arms out, firing out a fire blast. Delphyne stopped as she noticed the blast of fire. She frowned and opened her mouth, firing a huge breath of fire towards the fire blast. The two blasts clashed, seeming to be equal in power.

"Whoa!!" Hooder shouted, putting his hand over his eyebrows to see better.

The Phoenix smirked as he put more power into the blast, as it completely overpowered Delphyne's fire blast. Her eye's widened as she was engulfed into the blast.

"Oh shoot..." Hooder said, realizing that Delphyne seemed to be losing.

Once the flames were gone, The Phoenix flew above Delphyne and landed a hard punch to her cheek, sending her flying downwards towards where Hooder was. "Delphyne!" At that point it was too late.

Delphyne crashed right through the roof, going through the academy, crashing into the final floor. "Fuck..." Hooder said looking down the hole. The Phoenix was right on her tail as he flew through the holes to find her. Once we was on the last floor, he grabbed Delphyne by the face and threw her through the academy entrance.

"Argh!" Once she crashed through the door, she spat a large amount of blood, crashing into the ground. The Phoenix landed right in front of her with a smirk. Blood began to run down her forehead, over her eyes.

Hooder was making his way down, looking at the many injured students... He frowned, continuing to go down, "I can't just sit here and watch people die, or let him kill Delphyne. I have to do something..." Electricity coated Hooder as a aura, as he dashed down the holes. He landed on the ground, looking towards a hole through the entrance to the academy.

"Dammit.. Here I come Phoenix.." He zipped through, seeing him holding Delphyne by her neck.

He drew his leg back and landed a kick to his neck. This kick gained The Phoenix's attention. He smirked, as Hooders eyes widened. He dropped Delphyne, turned around and landed a hard hit to Hooder's stomach. Hooders eyes went blank for second, as he was sent back, well he would've if The Phoenix didn't grab his arm so he wouldn't. He turned around and began to slam Hooder around like a ragdoll. He lifted Hooder.

"Dammit, I said leave him alone Phoenix!!" Delphyne shouted, gaining Phoenix's attention. He smirked, "You really seem to care about this boy. Would be ashame if I killed him." Delphyne slowly stood, stumbling back. "Your target is me... Leave him out of this.."

He smirked as he let Hooder go, landing a punch to his gut, his fist engulfed in fire. A fire shockwave waved from Hooders back. Hooders eyes turned white as he was sent flying, crashing into the sign that leads to the academy. Delphyne's eyes widened, as she watched Hooder fly past her.

The Phoenix cracked his Knuckles, "Man was he weak. I don't know you decided to give your powers to someone that weak. At least you're decent." A black fade covered Delphyne's eyes.

She clenched her teeth and claws. Fire began to emit from her body. "You bastard.." The Phoenix smirked, "Man, doesn't this just gives you weird deja vu?" He said getting in a stance.

Her teeth began to get sharper. Scales began to cover her body, "I swear... I won't make the same mistake I made during our last fight." The Phoenix rose a eyebrow. "And what was that?" She looked at him with absolute rage. "Leaving you alive..." Delphyne's arms, legs and cheek were covered in Scales. She also had two dragon horns this time.

His eyes widened, "Well look at that. You're taller." Flames began to coat both The Phoenix's and Delphyne hands. "Now, show me your full power!!!"
