Chapter 5

Me and Delphyne sat at the back of the academy, it's not lunch or anything, it's actually the weekend. I had no idea what to do so we're just chillin. I yawned and folded my arms, "Man I'm bored..." I whispered, gaining Delphyne's attention. "Well, how about instead of just sitting here, we do something fun!" I looked up, "Well. I guess... There's no problem with that." I said, looking over at her. "What are you thinking?"

She looked down at her hands... "Um..." I looked forward sighing. "Oh! I've been sealed for a long time. I don't exactly know where I'm at, you could show me around!" I look up, thinking on whether I want to do that or not. "Sure why not." I stood up, holding my hand out to her, "Come on." She smiled and grabbed my hand, as I pulled her up. "Thank you Hooder." I nodded, as we began walking.

Once we reached the town, I looked around. "Um Hooder..." I looked down towards Delphyne. Her face was glowing pink, "Um.." She began to rub her her forearm. "C-Can... I um.. Hold your hand..?" I blinked, "Um. Sure?" I held it out towards her, as she grabbed my fingers, smiling. "Thanks!" I nodded and look around our surroundings.

"Alright. So, over there." I pointed towards a series of buildings and food stands. "Those are where food and attractions are located. Come with me, we can check some of them out."

"Alright." We walked over. We arrived to the first building. I opened the door and stepped inside. "This is a rodeo." We walked up to stands, looking down. "Oo!" She said, leaning on the rail to seeing the rodeo. Man, she's acting like a child...

I'd walk up, "Yeah. It's entertaining to watch. And very fun to participate in. Every year, the academy takes us here and we participate in the rodeo. And it's super fun, I got to ride one of those skeleton horses." I said, folding my arms, looking down. She looked up at me with amazement, "Wow really!?" I smiled and nodded, "Yup." She looked back down. "I've always wanted to ride one when I was a kid."

"Well, one day I'll see what I can do." I said, walking back to the entrance. "Yay! Oh! Wait for me!!" She shouted, running after me, grabbing my hand. We walked out, "Alright onto the next one."

As we walked towards it, I looked down at Delphyne. "So, have you always been this short?" I asked, laughing a bit. Her eyes turned to equal signs... "No.." She looked at herself. "I used to be almost as tall as you. I-I don't know what happened." Hmm... interesting.. This must've been how short she was when she was a kid. I don't know, I'm not gonna act like I do.

We arrived at the next building. I opened the door and stepped inside. "This is a museum. It mainly holds art of course and old weapons and artifacts from some of the greatest warriors in the world." I explained looking around. Delphyne's eyes began to sparkle. "Wow! My home never had a museum!" She said looking at the good stuff. "Hm. But yeah, some of the best stuff are here. Which can be a good thing but can also not, because it makes it a gold mine for thieves." I placed a hand on my hip as I explained that. "Oh.."

"But we make up for that with high security. Speaking of which come on, lets move on." She nodded and grabbed my hand.

We walked out, heading to the next attraction. "Alright, this is the movie theater." She rose her pink eyebrows. "Why can't we go inside?" I pointed towards the door, "Theres no point. What? You want to just look at posters? I don't got money to actually get you a ticket to watch a movie." I said rubbing the back of my head, "I'm sorry..."

She smiled and patted my arm, "It's alright. Maybe we can have a chance some other time." I nodded, "Yeah definitely. Come on, let's move." She smiled grabbing my hand.

We began walking. "How about we walk to two more attractions, and stop to get something to eat?" I asked looking down. She nodded, "Sure!" I nodded and walked towards the next attraction.

"This, is the zoo. Now I'm not really sure why we have a zoo inside a building, but it's still good. My personal favorite animal is definitely the tiger." I said as we walked inside. "A tiger?" I looked down at her. "Yeah, you know? The biggest of the cats? Orange with black strips?" She just stared at me with confusion. "Never mind..."

"Well, my favorite animal is a dragon. Do they have those?" I shook my head. "No, that would be very dangerous for us and the animals."

"Oh.."

"Yeah, sorry." I said rubbing her head. "Come on, if you want I can take you on a tour of the zoo sometime." She nodded excited, "Yes yes!" I smiled as she gently grabbed my hand, "Alright let's go." I lead her out of the zoo and headed towards the last attraction.

"For when it's time, what are you gonna want to eat?" She began to think... "Hm... Do they have steak?" I nodded. "Oo! Than that!" I smiled, "Alright."

We then arrived at the final attraction. "Alright, now this is the garden of the kingdom." She looked at it, mesmerized. "Yeah. It's definitely a beautiful sight. Back then, I use come here to calm down."

She stepped forward. "Wow... It's so beautiful..." She grabbed my hand and pulled me beside her. I blinked at her, before focusing on the garden. "Hooder..."

"Yeah..?"

"Can you lean down for me..?" I was confused on why she wanted me to leaned down, but I cooperated.

I leaned down a bit, and my eyes widened, my cheeks glowing pink. Delphyne planted a soft kiss to my cheek. Once her lips left my cheek, she whispered, "Thank you for showing me this.. I'm glad I was able to see it with you." I blinked slowly as I leaned up looking at her awkwardly, "N-No problem..."

I turned back, "Alright anyway, time to eat!" The moment I said eat, she snapped out of her trance. "Oh yes! Let's go!!" She dragged me away, out of the door.

I just smiled and blushed...
