Chapter 42: War! (2)

"This human has deeply enraged me! How dare you slaughter my army and convert them into yours!" The orc roared up into the skies in anger. Then it jumped and flew across the battlefield and landed in front of Shin.

In an instant, every single orc started to feel like their stats were boosted. They all gave a shrill cry as they lunged towards Shin's Undead Army once more.

"What...?" Shin uttered as he took a step back. His eyes landed on an orc that was 7ft tall.

[Ding Ding! Dungeon boss has appeared!]

[Ding Ding! New Quest has been acquired!]

Notifications popped up inside Shin's head.

'So It's the dungeon boss'

looked at Shin in anger.

"You shall not live"

"Harming my brethren warrants death!" the Orc said in human tongue.

'He's able to speak in english!?' Shin said as he gasped in shock.

"Who are you?" Shin asked cautiously as he took a step back.

'System Scan Stats' he ordered the system as he warily looked at the orc in front of him.

"Me? I am the Orc King" the orc said.

'Orc King?'

'Damn! This guy has one passive skill and four active skills in his arsenal!' Shin thought to himself in surprise.

'If I could get him to become on of my own...' Shin thought in delight.

He imagined the scene of a 7ft tall A rank orc standing by his side and awaiting his orders. He imagined the scene of conquering the whole world with his undead army.

Just kidding

He's a good dude, why would he conquer the world?

"Orc King, serve me" Shin said arrogantly.

The Orc King's eyes squinted as it looked at Shin in surprise.

"Me? Serving you? Your race are fragile and weak! Your arrogance knows no limit! I will only serve the Orc God! No one else!" The Orc King said in disdain as it looked at Shin in disgust.

Serve him? He was just a puny human! Why would he serve him? He could kill him with a flick of his finger. He's clearly overestimating himself.

Shin smiled.

"Are you sure?" Shin said.

The Orc King snorted in response.

"You'll still have to serve me though even after you die.."

"And I'll make you kneel for a week"

Shin threatened.

The Orc King laughed. Its laughter echoed about the whole battlefield. His orc soldiers heard his laughter so they all followed suit. Laughter could be heard from any part of the battlefield.

He laughed till his belly ached and his eyes wet from tears. Even his body was quivering because of him laughing.

"Done?" Shin said.

"You actually have potential to be my Jester"

"Human, serve me" The Orc King said. It repeated Shin's words as he ridiculed him.

Shin shook his head and said, "Enough talk. Let's fight."

He waved his hand and in an instant, the 5000 Undead Minions disappeared. They all

"Oh? Then as you wish" The Orc King said with a hideous smile.

The Orc King roared and said in Orc's tongue,

"Thou shalt not interfere!"

The numerous orc soldiers roared in response.

"Come" Shin said as he took on a battle stance.

But as Shin said that, he noticed that the Orc King was not in front of him. Then he suddenly noticed a big shadow in front of him.

The Orc King was behind him!

Having been stupidly overconfident, Shin was took by surprise.

The Orc King bashed Shin's stomach with his arm and then blew Shin away for a hundred meters.

Shin tumbled on the ground and then finally stabilized himself as he coughed up three mouthfuls of blood. His blood splattered all over the ground.

[Ding Ding! You have lost 50% of your health]

"F-f*ck" Shin said as his face turned pale.

The Orc King laughed out loud. His laughter reverberating across the battlefield. The other orcs also laughed while deep inside the void, the undead army, Wrath and Quilge was worried sick.

"My Liege!"

"My Lord!"

"King!"

"It's alright. I'm fine" Shin said.

"That all you got? Now it's my turn" Shin said with a smile.

'Purple God Eyes activate'

Shin's eyes instantly turned from orange to purple. He instantly unleashed the amount of power that equalled the Orc King.

He stretched his neck and then made his fingers crack.

He smiled and then turned into a blur. He instantly reappeared behind the Orc King as he swung the blunt part of his tomahawk towards the stomach of the Orc King.

The Orc King was suddenly blown away close to a hundred meters away.

The Orc King was surprised and stupefied as he heard Shin's laughter. But he didn't have the same amount of time as Shin had since by now Shin already appeared in front of him. Giving him not a single opportunity to collect himself.

In a matter of seconds, flashes of light could be seen around the battlefield as Shin and The Orc King exchanged a hundred blows.

After ten seconds, they were evenly matched. And after five more seconds, the Orc King noticed something strange.

'He's...He's growing even more powerful!'

'What is this!'

'What kind of monster is he!?'

The Orc King for the second time in his life, felt a bit of fear.

'I shan't keep this on much longer!'

"AAAAAARRRGHHHH" the Orc King yelled as he retreated a few meters.

He roared and then instantly activated his skill called Berserker's rage. His body instantly reached up to 8ft tall and his muscles were bulging even more.

Next, he used his skill called Heavy Amplification which gave all of his stats a boost of about 90%. The former Orc Lord Quilge, could only increase his stats with this skill by only 30% but this Orc King could do so by 90%! How powerful was he now!?

Next he grew a pair of 2 more arms giving him six arms! Each of them holding the same power as the original two!

Now all of his stats reached an astronomical number of more than 3500!

The 8ft tall Orc King gave a defeaning roar.

"You shall now die" The Orc King said arrogantly. His face could give nightmares to anyone who saw him.

Shin smiled but didn't say anything.

The Orc King saw this as Shin looking down on him. He looked at Shin's eyes and all he could see was disdain. That lofty purple eyes gave him the feeling that it was the Orc God that was looking down at him and not a puny human like Shin.

This instantly enraged him.

'Is this...fear?'

'Me...? Feel fear?'

'No!'

The Orc King roared and then charged towards Shin. The two once more engaged in hundreds of close combat exchange. The reverberations from the battlefield blew away the countless orc soldiers.

At first, Shin was surprised by the sudden increase of power of the Orc King so he instantly ordered the system to analyze the stats of the Orc King and then insert the information into his mind.

When he saw that all of his opponent's stats reached more than three thousand five hundred, he quickly exerted a bit more power and accompanied the Orc King in tempering himself. Slowly but surely, his tomahawk skills were improving at a rapid pace until finally...

[Ding Ding! Tomahawk Master has leveled up!]

[Ding Ding! Quick Reaction has leveled up!]

Shin smiled when he saw this.

"What!? Impossible!" The Orc King blurted out as it finally noticed that once again, the power of the puny human in front of him increased once more! And to a terrifying degree that it wasn't weaker than him!

Shin looked at the time and saw that there were only twenty more seconds before his innate ability ended.

Shin backed off and said, "Unfortunately, I can't accompany you any longer. How I wish that I could prolong this period but alas... My time is running out.". His face was filled with regret.

It wasn't easy to find an opponent that was as powerful as him! Let alone finding an opportunity to clear out a high ranking dungeon by himself! One must know that portals like these normally aren't for just anyone to clear. One must have sufficient background and must come from prestigious guilds!

Shin was filled with endless regret.

'If only my Purple God Eyes ability could last longer. My mastery over my tomahawk would increase significantly' Shin thought to himself.

"It was fun while it lasted" Shin said to the Orc King.

"What arroga-" The Orc King was about to say when it was interrupted by Shin.

"Wha.....?" He felt a tingling sensation of pain in his body. He looked down and saw that there was a big hole on his body! The Orc King looked at the puny human in front of him and felt incredible fear. The aura that he now felt from Shin was not the same like the ones he felt earlier. It was more fearsome! More dreadful! Of course, this was Shin unleashing most of the power that his innate ability had.

The Orc King's body fell into the ground as it lifelessly slept.

"Live" Shin said with a devilish grin.

The Orc King that had just rested suddenly stood up. The hole in his body was no more.

His eyes glowing purple and his whole body's aura changed.

"My Liege" The Orc King said as it kneeled down in front of Shin.

Shin smiled in satisfaction and in surprise.

'He can talk...'. Shin thought to himself.

"As I promised, you shall kneel for a week"

"But I shall name you Samson"

"Do you have any objections!?" Shin said.

"No my liege! This lowly one is at fault! Please punish me!" Samson said as he kowtowed in front of Shin. The eternal bond that he and Shin felt was very deep and because of Shin's skill, the loyalty of Samson or the former Orc King was with Shin and Shin alone.

Shin summoned his Undead Army. He looked at the five thousand Undead creatures behind him.

"Slaughter them" he said. His voice was not loud but the every single creature could hear him.

They all roared in response. They charged towards the remaining Orc Soldiers and then proceeded to skillfully crush all of them.

[Ding Ding! Numerous notifications are yet to be viewed. Would you like to view them?] the system sounded out.

'No maybe lat-' But just now, Shin felt pain assault him.

"Aahhhkkkkk!! What!!!" He roared out in pain.

"My liege!" Samson said as he looked at Shin with endless worry. The surrounding creatures also stopped massacring the remaining Orc Soldiers. They all cried out in worry.

"Continue to battle. Kill all of them! I shall guard our King" Samson ordered.

Samson, being the most powerful amongst all of Shin's Undead Creatures, is naturally respected by each and every one of Shin's Undead Army. One must know that he was the first to reach the rank higher than an Undead Commander! An Undead Lord!

Samson looked at Shin with worry.

"What...?"

"Where am I?"

Shin said as he stared at his surroundings. It was a deep and dark place with not a single light around. Then pain once again assaulted him as a flurry of memories entered his brain.

The memories were displayed in the darkness in front of him.
