Chapter 5 - I'll still marry her/him

The room was all shocked after hearing the news from bill,

"I'm going to marry grace",

Bill said with a serious face,

"I can't believe it", a woman said looks like she was bill's mom,

"Mom..." Bill said,

The woman came close to grace, she held her shoulders and had a sincere feeling of pity,

"If bill is threatening you, I can talk to him, " the woman said with seriousness,

"Eh?" Grace was dumbfounded, because of the woman's reaction,

"Mom! I am serious we talked about marrying each other, grandma also knows this" Bill said offended by her mother,

While I was standing there processing what was happening between their family, a cute kid pulled my dress softly and I looked at him,

"Are you gonna be my new aunt?" The boy had a sparkle in his eyes,

Grace lowered her head and came closer to the boy,

"Are you gonna welcome me as your aunt?" Grace smiled at the little boy,

"Of course!, so uncle will not be lonely anymore," The little boy said with joy,

Grace was lost in thought, realizing that bill wants to have his own family to fill the empty gap in his heart,

"So he was just lonely, and he was feeling jealous of his other siblings..." Grace then stood straight and held bill's hands,

Bill was surprised and he looked at grace, grace smiled at bill signaling that she will take care of it,

"I also agreed at marrying each other, I wanted to marry him as fast as possible," I said,

"And why do you rush marriage as if you guys are sure enough that you have a true love for each other?" Suddenly a woman said, and when they had all the attention to her it was bill's grandmother,

"Grandma..." Bill said,

"Bill, you can not look down upon the oath of god, once you guys are married in front of the altar it means you guys promise a long relationship with each other, but if you guys end up breaking your promise it just means you have made fun upon the marriage vow, " grandma said,

Yesterday bill had said that his grandma is super faithful to god, before marrying bill's grandpa she made him wait for so long just to get to know him more, and to see if his love will last as he promises,

The more I get to know about their family the more I love how they value true love, but what will happen if they were to know that their grandson is marrying a girl just to fill his loneliness?

"Good morning Mrs. hera, I do think that we are rushing marriage... Because if you don't know we only met two days ago", I said straightforwardly,

Bill looked at me not understanding my plan,

The whole other family members were curious as to why I had mentioned that in front of their grandmother,

"However, I've never met any man like bill, I do think that maybe I'm just getting used to his love and I'm just being happy at first, but the more I know more about him, it's like I cannot stop thinking about my future with him, I want to spend my whole life with him, " I said,

Well, it's not a lie that I've never met a guy like him, I mean who would even meet someone you just met, ask your hand for marriage anyways?, but It's a lie that I want to spend my whole life with him, thinking more about the future I don't even think I can promise all of my life span with him,

"You have a very wise word young lady, however, I don't think it's a good reason that you need to involve God for your little love experiment, " she said,

"... (Maybe we should just be a contracted fiance because your grandma is correct)" I said not wanting to further my conversation with bill's grandmother,

"But... I deserve this happiness grandma." Bill said,

"Why would you want happiness from a person you just met two days ago?" She said,

Grace was feeling nervous seeing as how bill is serious about fighting for their marriage,

"My whole life people around me never know what kind of happiness I want, they worry about me, ask about me, even more, they pry into my life showing me their happiness, I was living a life not knowing what will make me happy, and that if I want happiness I should be paying for it..." Bill said stopping in the middle of the sentence,

"Wait I do need to pay for her..." He said in his thoughts,

"But after meeting Grace, for a short time I can understand genuine happy, even just the smallest thing I felt the need to appreciate it, and she had made me open my eyes and heart to all of the things around me, " bill said,

"I approve of this marriage, I can see that they will just end up resisting more if I kept on saying no, I can also see that bill has grown up, " bill's grandma said,

"And also young lady..." Mrs. Hera came close to grace,

"You can call me grandmother, " she said winking at her, and she then head towards the table,

"What are you guys doing let's go have lunch now," Bill's father said,

The others head towards the large table, and then bill and I was left there,

"Sigh",

We had a big sigh of relief, our plan worked out, and our hearts had stopped beating fast because of nervousness,

"(You did a great job coming up with a lie, for backups)" Grace had said whispering so that they won't be heard by the other family members,

"(All of them wasn't a lie though...)" Bill whispered,

"What?" Grace couldn't hear it clear because of the murmurs of the other people at the table,

"Nothing, let's go", bill said handing his hand out so that grace will hold it,

They came inside the dining room smiling acting in love in front of the family members, they are and talked, the others introduce themselves,

"I am bill's father, Eugene Oliver hera, it's really nice to meet you," he said smiling,

"I am bill's mother, Patricia Hera, I am from Italy, I met their father while I was in my family's pizzeria, I saw him eating this one box full of pizza alone, he was also crying at that time I had said in my thoughts 'what a strange man' I joined him because he was also disturbing other customers on the restaurant, I had asked him why he was crying he said 'I'm feeling so overwhelmed by the paperwork I need to finish, and I can't help but want to finish a whole box of pizza' he said that and I thought he was so funny," she said smiling sharing her love story,

"I am Veronica Ava Hera, the oldest sister of your fiance, " she said shipping us together, we flushed from embarrassment in front of others,

Bill's older sister is a great woman, she manages the branch in Tokyo, her appearance is like her mother's black hair but her eyes were green, and she has two children and she's 36 years old, surprisingly she said proudly that she's a single mother while cursing his ex in front of the table others also agreed, and the others covered their children's ears,

"My first child, Isabella Hera, and my second child, Carl Hera, they inherited my last name because their father is a worthless man, ****do you know how that guy had the nerve to try and challenge me?!"

her first child is 18 and the other is 16, a girl and a boy who seems soft-hearted after I witnessed them stopping their mother when she was spitting fire from their father,

"Seriously what a fun family, " I said in my thought,

"Hi, I am Patrick Henry Hera, I'm bill's older brother this is my wife Abigail Her, ", he greeted me smiling,

His appearance was just like bill, with blonde hair and green eyes but his facial structure was like a woman, with his glasses on he looks like a scholar,

"Hello, I can't believe my bro in law this is my first time seeing him bringing a woman to his home." It was the woman with tea hair and orange eyes so he is Bill's sister in law,

She greeted herself to me saying that I should call her "Abbie" I was so shy in front of her, but she kept making me feel comfortable as much as possible, she has an outgoing personality and she gets along well with everyone, while she was talking I can see how her husband keeps on looking at her with a really passionate eyes,

"This is my son, Ian Cole Hera," the boy looks like 19 and he has Orange hair and his eyes is green, surprisingly all of the family visuals are so beautiful.
