"A Malachite Sword? I don't recall anything like that in the MP novel" his thoughts starts conversing beetwen each other about the mystery that revolves around the unkown sword, that immediately caught Nie Yong's interest "And if I may ask where should this Malachite sword be now?"

"You mean this?" The innkeeper replied to Nie Yong as he brought a sword from under the table "See, it doesn't even have it's shattered in the middle and the tip has been lost"
"It's even dull" he demonstated by trying to cut his own finger, which didn't get cut due to the dullness of the sword.
The sword was broken and dull, so practilly useless, but it caught Nie Yong's attention due to its strong and mysterious Qi fluctuations "Sorry if I ask, but can I please see it real quick?"
"Yes, go ahead, but I doubt you'll find anything interesting" the innkeeper replied to his request while passing him the malachite sword.
As soon as Nie Yong touched the sword, he immediately infused his Sword Qi in it.
Golden words came out of the swords "The way of the sword has no end" and they entered the handsome lad's mind.
Immediately after, Nie Yong felt a surge of Qi inside himself and immediately went in a lotus position as a golden aura started enveloping him, making the nice innkeeper run towards him, worried "Are you fine young man?"
"Don't worry, Innkeeper, he just found something in the sword and is trying to understand it" the charming beauty, Xia Ning Chang reassured the old man.
...
After half an hour
The golden aura around him disappeared, being absorbed by Nie Yong.
[The host has reached the 5th Stage Initial Element!]
[The host's Sword Qi is now purer!]
[Skill, True Swordmanship, has levelled up to lv. 17!]
[Skill, Thunder Howling Sword Style, has reached lv. max!]
[The skill, Thunder Howling Sword Style, is evolving...]

After breaking through, the guy opened his eyes and saw Xia Ning Chang chatting with the old man "So, innkeeper, do you think a sword made of black iron suits him or is a ebony sword better for his style? It's my first time making a gift"
The old man chuckled at her question "You really love him, huh" making the shy girl blush "But I think a black iron sword would suit him better"
"Really?" Said Xia Ning Chang excited, before she heard a quite familiar voice agreeing to her question "Yes, Chang'er, i too think that a black iron sword would suit me better"
At his words, she became red, so red that she wasn't able to think anymore.
"Chang'er" tried Nie Yong to contact her, but without success and so he just turned to the innkeeper in hope that his woman would soon come to her senses.
"Thanks, old man for having showed me the sword of your son and letting me have this enlightening" he thanked the innkeeper, trying to give the sword back to the latter, who stopped him "You can keep it, young man"
"But it's too precious for me to just take it without giving you anything!"
"Don't worry, just seeing you made me remeber my son, that's the greatest gift yoh could have given me" said the innkeeper, holding back tears.
"But-" the handsome lad tried to say something, but interrupted instantly by the old keeper "No buts and i wouldn't have a use for it, i have a crippled body, so i would prefer a young boy like you to use such a precious treasure at his fullest than it rusting here"
"Thanks, old man, really thank you a lot" Nie Yong thanked the old man with all of his heart as he bowed down to him.
"No need to thank me, young boy, i guess you will need strength to protect this nice girl"
"Yes, i'll protect her even if it will cost my life" statted Nie Yong, making Xia Ning Chang, who just had regained her senses, faint again.
"You're a good man, don't fall in devious paths just for power." The old man complimented the handsome lad, who replied by just thanking him.
Then, they started chatting, waiting for Xia Ning Chang to regain consciousness.
...
After other ten minutes
"So, you were indeed a cultivator once, old man"
"Yes, but i was crippled by an enemy in the past and after that, i just lived peaceful in this small town"
"Really interesting" Nie Yong said as he felt fluctuations of Qi coming from Xia Ning Chang's body "I guess she's awakening"
And not even a second after, the beauty woke up, rubbing her eyes like a baby waking up from his sleep.
"Chang'er, you said that we were late and here you are sleeping on the floor" Nie Yong teased the now woken girl, who immediately said in response "Right! We have to hurry to the Black Wind Forests now or we won't do it in time"
And she immediately ran to the horse, outside of the Inn, without even saying goodbye to the old man due to her hurrying.
"Guess we'll have to part ways here, old man. It was a pleasure knowing you" Nie Yong said to the Innkeeper as he advanced to the exit door, stopping right in front of it "But, may I ask for your name?"
"Yes, young man, my name is Uzumaki Ryota" the innkeeper revealed his name, making Nie Yong think "Ryota, such a nostalgic name... I wonder how mom is...
"See you again, old man and i wish for you to be healthy" and he left the inn, closing its door, reaching then Xia Ning Chang and getting on the horse, finally continuing their way to the Black Wind Forests after a lot of distractions.
"Wait... his last name was Uzumaki?!"
