Chapter 43

Claude rested his head on my lap after he finished taking care of my injury and closed his eyes for a second

I smiled warmly looking at him resting on my lap and patted his head gently

The both of us were enjoying each other's company

I caressed and run my finger tips through his hair

He gave a soft giggle and I did too

"..."

We both went silent again

I can feel he was relaxed around me

"Claude, are you fine now?"

I asked Claude as I still caressed his head back and forth

He then looked at me while his chin still rested on my lap and tilted his head confused

"Weren't you angry that I pushed you away the last time we met?"

I asked again

Wondering if he remembered or chose not to remember

He then rested his head again on my lap and pondered

"I was upset, but I wasn't angry at you..."

Claude answered softly

I was surprised of how long Claude could hold his anger

"Really?"

I asked again to make sure

I asked nervously

"Hehe"

Claude gave a soft giggle

He then sit up straight and looked at me straight in the eyes and smiled gently

"I would never get angry at you Athy"

Claude smiled sweetly as he held my injured hand caressing it softly

I gave a sigh of relief and smiled in return

Both of us were happy to be on good terms again

And smiled looking at each other softly and sweetly

I remembered that last time I thought that I saw Claude at school

I wanted to ask him but I did not have the courage to do so

I don't know why...

But I have this foreboding feeling that if I asked

Something would change drastically

"Psst!"

Someone whispered to me

I looked at Claude and thought that he was the one that called me

But Claude looked at me clueless

"Psssst Athy!"

Someone called out to me again

But then I remembered that I came here with someone

And that someone is....

"Athy!!!!"

Cosmo....

I sighed heavily

"Don't you sigh on me Athy, How could you forget me?!"

Cosmo yelled in frustration I could feel his voice trembling

I'm sorry about that Cosmo, it's just that a lot has happened while you were gone ok?

I telepathically said as I tried not to anger and upset him any further

"Yeah yeah, I know what was going on"

Cosmo said feeling tired

You already knew yet you didn't come to save me...

I said a little bit angry that he knew yet he didn't do anything

"Well that's because for some reason I wasn't able to contact you, plus as I was on my way that red headed kid saw me and stopped me"

Cosmo said annoyed

I listened to his story silently

"He asked me what I was doing here and so I answered and told him about the situation, he wasn't that trusting of me you see..."

Cosmo said annoyed and tired once again like he wants me to bear and react to it

And is stopping him from telling all at once

And where are you now?

I asked annoyed, worried having mixed emotions on what to feel

"He was suspicious of me right? do you know where he put me?!"

Cosmo angrily yelled shouting inside of my head

I wasn't able to say anything since I think I know where this is going

"He locked me up!"

Cosmo angrily said

And why did the butler not stand up for you?

I asked wondering

"The butler was away for a sec and the employees were too scared to speak up, one order from him and handsome Cosmo is locked up!"

Cosmo said angrily shouting even more at me

I feel guilty since i'm the one who took him here and yet he was even the one that got punished for it

Ok ok look i'll explain everything to Claude and let you out, ok?

I asked calming him down

"You better! I can't do anything inside of this small room, why do they even have this looks like for a prisoner... and i'm not even a prisoner!"

Cosmo kept on rambling and rambling telling how upset, annoyed, sad, and tired he was

I was tired of him talking but I also felt bad since i'm the reason he's imprisoned in Claude's house

I ignored Cosmo's rambling and looked at Claude who was quite confused to who I was talking to

I then gave an awkward smile and laughed

"Uhm Claude, did you somehow bump onto someone you don't know earlier?"

I asked nervously

Claude was as expected was not surprised and gave me a look and stared at me for a quick sec

He then gave a smile

"He's in the end of the hallway room"

Claude said with a smile on his face

Wich hallway?!

There are a lot of hallways here!

I said shouting inside of my head

Claude then walked to the door and opened the door showing me out

I then walked towards the door and Claude followed

Claude shut the door softly and tightly making sure it wasn't even a bit open not even a small crack could be seen

I then moved to the side so Claude could go infront and lead me the way to where he imprisoned Cosmo

"Blah blah blah blah, blah blah blah"

Cosmo kept on and on but I ignored it and wasn't even aware he was talking until now

I picked my ears to try even the slightest bit to remove Cosmo's noise

But it wasn't successful and so I have to walk in a long hallway with a nuisance in my head

Claude was infront of me leading the way to Cosmo

Claude then looked back to look at me and smiled

"Are you feeling alright?"

Claude asked with a worried look

I tilted my head and asked

"Why?"

He then gave a giggle and a worried face

"You don't look too good, you look like you're tired"

Claude said worried

Oh it must have been because of Cosmo talking nonsense

I then gave a quick smile and shook my head

"I'm alright! My energy has come back!"

I said energetically smiling as wide as I can

Claude then smiled again

"I'm glad you're doing good"

Claude said and then looked infront

I smiled until he turned away and had a word with Cosmo

Hey, could you please tone it down?

I asked trying to be peaceful

"Tone it down...? Tone it down?!"

Cosmo yelled angrily inside of my head

Oh boy...

I said and sighed my palm on my face knowing it isn't going to be good

"I was the one who was thrown into imprisonment while you get to be all Lovey dovey!"

Cosmo furiously yelled

We weren't lovey dovey!

I yelled back

"Oh yes you were!"

Cosmo shouted again

No we weren't!

And the both of us had war inside of my head

We bicker and bicker and bicker and said things that were not even true

But to continue our argument we kept on insulting each other

The both of us will not back down until one of us do

And to put in mind my competitive self I did not back down and continued our bicker

*Bicker bicker bicker!*

*Bicker bicker bicker!*

*Bicker bicker bicker!*

Walking through the hallway as we were too busy roasting each other

We did not notice that me and Claude were coming closer

"Here we are"

Claude said

But I wasn't able to hear since Cosmo was to noisy

When I suddenly heard shouting inside of the door

And when Claude opened the door to reveal Claude sitting on a chair shouting and is still arguing with me

"Oh yeah? well you're a-"

Claude stopped

As he turned his head slowly towards us and stared at the both of us

Claude was shocked and got weirded out, Cosmo was shocked and is seemed to be embarrassed

While I was shock that how furious Cosmo was with our battle that he starts to yell physically

"Oh hey!"

Cosmo quickly changer his expression and all of his embarrassment were somehow all gone

Smiling at the both of us calmly acting as if nothing has happened
