The Battle at Caelaem 1

We arrived at Caelaem and got out the car while Rushina rode her dragon to Caelaem. Caelaem was one of our main stops to get a piece of the Leo Zodiac Crystal to get into the Cave of Leo. Li Mailin parked the car and the rest of the way we had to go on foot. Rushina landed on her feet after jumping off her dragon then the dragon flew off. As I expected there were Demons and Demon Hunters battling. I looked around and took a step forward and Kufka stopped me. Her eyes glowed and red lightning sparked from her eyes.

"There's a third force here. Doesn't feel like a Human nor Demon. It isn't one of the the Unknown Order either since they don't exist on this side of the universe anymore." Kufka said. "Dark Lord..? No...they don't fight for humans nor demons...It's something more sinister.."

"Like something higher than a Dark Lord?" Shizaki asked.

"Not exactly, but it's something. Rushina what do you make of this situation?" Kufka asked.

"It's a Fallen Legend. An Ancient Devil who's existence is still known even after the Ancient Hero disposed of them. Some of them didn't die because they hid for centuries. They fight for Demons in specific but not for a goal, for destruction. They feed off death." Rushina said.

"Die Demons! Crematory Oubilette!" A woman bellowed and pulled the trigger of her pistol and blew majority of the demons away with a large red energy beam.

We all covered our faces from the debris of the aftermath of the attack. The beam vanished slowly and the smoke cleared and I opened my eyes, seeing a woman with powerful flames. Flames of a Goddess.

"Tch..." The woman scoffed and her pistol vanished.

"Whoa." I said then the woman spotted me.

"Demon sighted, eliminating the target!" The woman dashed towards me and summoned her rapier and slashed then was blown away by Li Mailin's dark repulsive force. She grunted and slid back on one knee. "What the..? These demons are more powerful than I anticipated."

"Wait...that's grandma Adriesta.." Kufka said.

"She doesn't have memory of anything before she died...our only option is to neutralize her. She won't listen to reason." Mikoko said.

"Oh dear, we need six people to take on one enemy who's basically Human?" Rushina sighed.

"She's practically a Goddess. We-"

"I'll take her on." I said. "Alone. The rest of you can go search for the shard. I'll meet up with you. She's after me anyway."

"You sure?" Mikoko asked.

"Yeah..I'm sure." I said.

They nodded and ran off to look for the shard. I looked at Adriesta and summoned my sword. She looked at me and stood up. I closed my eyes and my yellow aura appeared around my body then I opened my eyes.

"You sure you want to take her on alone? This is a Dream Unit you're taking on." The Ancient Hero informed.

"I wonder...can you see what I see?" I asked.

"My soul is with you, so yes I can see what you see. Adriesta isn't to be underestimated. I can't give you all my powers until we create a bond at the Cave of Leo. You're on your own in this fight basically." The Ancient Hero said.

"I'm more than ready. My passives aren't gonna fail me at all." I said.

"You haven't even mastered your main passive, Indomitable Will. You can manipulate it..maybe you'll level up in this battle to master that passive before you go into anything else. Indomitable Will has more than Ability Cancellation. I'll let you figure that out yourself. Just remember about Tranquil State." The Ancient Hero said.

Adriesta stomped her foot down and her flames surged powerfully then she dashed towards me and slashed. I blocked the attack and went for the counter strike and we clashed. We clashed multiple times and she ducked then I went for a sweep kick and she jumped and kicked me into a building. I grunted and opened my eyes, quickly dodging a fire ball. I ran towards Adriesta and yelled.

"Kagutsuchi!" I slashed in a circle and blew her away.

She stopped in the air and tossed her sword in the air and summoned her pistol. She aimed at me then pulled the trigger and a huge energy blast was shot a me. I dodged the energy blasts and she caught her sword and threw it at me and made me stop in my tracks then I slashed and began cutting the blast in two. I yelled and slashed upwards, releasing a blade beam towards her. Her eyes glowed and black lightning surrounded her then she perfectly dodged the blade beam and warped to her sword and kicked me in the air.

"I'll eradicate all demons!" Adriesta jumped up and grabbed my face and slammed me into the ground. "I will find the demon that took my child and end this cycle of misery! Now disappear!"

Sparks began coming from her hand and aura surged from her hand. I looked shocked and I grabbed her arm then a yell came from a far then Adriesta dodged a spirit bullet.

"Only I can defeat Yufumi!" A familiar voice said and helped me up.

"H-Hinari?" I looked at her. "Why are you here?"

"Training. I felt your presence here and followed it then saw you battling with Adriesta. I'm tagging in because no one is defeating you except me!" Hinari transformed into her incomplete Demon Mode.

"Thanks." I said and my aura manipulated itself into armor around my body.

"You're getting serious then so will I." Adriesta's voice began to get deep and her illusion vanished and revealed Trickster. "Surprise."

"You." I glared.

"Looking for this?" He held up a piece of the Leo Zodiac Crystal. "I'm more than a guy with Fate Manipulation and Path Killing. I'm a man of deceit. I used the body of Adriesta so I can have those amazing powers and guess what I can now use them."

"Where's the real Adriesta?!" I asked, not having any patience.

"There." He pointed at the real Adriesta who's struggling to get free from the hands of the demon. "She wasn't so lucky running into me."

"You killed your own kind for no reason! If you didn't notice their fighting on the Underworld's behalf! I said.

"I don't care...I'm fighting just to stop you in specific. My mission is to make sure you can't obtain the Ancient Hero's power. I'll do just that." Trickster laughed. "You want this shard? Come get it."

Trickster laughed then was punched in the face by Katsuguchi. Hinari and I were shocked and looked at her. She picked up the shard and tossed it to me. I caught it and looked at her.

"Let's get those other shards so you can gain the blessings of the Ancient Hero." Katsuguchi said.

"Why are you helping me?" I asked.

"Because my eyes were open. If we don't end this war soon, the Sacred Realm will send it's angels to stop the war..The Human and Sacred Realm have a special alliance because of the Ancient Hero and his father. His Father is the God of the Sacred Realm. We can not allow him to awaken." Katsuguchi said.

"Heh...You think you'll have enough time to stop this war? In a few short months...The Fallen Legend Chaos will destroy everything!" Trickster laughed.

"Let's kill him." I said.

"Agreed." Hinari nodded.

"Fine by me." Katsuguchi said and transformed into her Demon Mode.

Trickster laughed and his eyes glowed and black aura surged around him and he yelled as he grew in size and demon wings emerged from his back and he summoned a claymore.

"I, Orthros, Commander of the Underworld will kill you all here and now!" Trickster's True Form was revealed.

"This is where I have to chime in and boost you up." The Ancient Hero said.

My body began glowing and my eyes shined. Hidden power within me was beginning to be awakened and special symbols formed from my pupils.

"The Kami-Yaoke. You can now use the full power of your flames. I can't let you die. You will not die." The Ancient Hero said.

Flames surrounded my body and the armor my aura created materialized and a mask slowly materialized on my face. Spiritual demon wings came from my back and I felt even more powerful.

"Let's do this." I said and a mask appeared on my face.
