The Pure-Bloods and the Half-Bloods

Pure-Blood=The bloodline of the five heroes who originated from the Kingdom of Asten. (Royalty) The direct descendants of the five great heroes inherit their abilities. Also, even if you were not born a pure-blood, you can still become one but it very rare. The god or goddess will descend from heaven to bless their chosen one.

Half-Blood=The direct descents of the followers that served underneath the five great heroes of Asten Kingdom during the Holy War. The five heroes of Asten blessed those with their abilities (Nobles)

Those who don't possess mana/magical powers are those whose ancestors refused to follow the five great heroes during the Holy war.

However, as I mentioned above, even a commoner can become a pure-blood if the god/goddess decides to descend from heaven and bless you.

Cedric, the 1st king of Asten and also the only one blessed with the light ability ruled over Asten with the other 4 heroes as his trusted aids. Cedric was gravely injured from the Battle with the Demon King so he could not bless anyone with the light ability.

After his death, the wielder of the fire ability took the throne and that is why the royal family of the Asten Kingdom has the blessing of the fire god Kairos.

Then, the other three heroes split up but before they did, they made sure to bless as many people as possible. Then they built their kingdoms.

Thus, the Silvan Royal Family has the blessing of water, the Arna Royal Family the blessing of Air, and the Rain Royal family the blessing of the earth. These four families are direct descendants of the five great heroes and thus are pure-bloods.

However, some royal family members have different blessings than the ones they inherited. The royal family bloodline is much more potent and stronger than the other nobility thus they have a better magical constitution and are naturally stronger than the other nobles.

Because of this, the gods greatly favor the royalty and would most often descend from heaven to bless royalty with their abilities rather than other nobles and commoners.

However, there are some minor gods that descend from heaven to bless their chosen one but they only have 2 chances to give their blessings throughout their lifetime of 2000 years.

The 5 Great Gods/Goddess are immortal because of the citizens everlasting faith and belief in them.

Receiving a blessing from a minor god is considered an extraordinary feat. There has only been 3 people known to have been blessed by a minor god throughout the Kingdom of Austen's 1000 years of history...

Many don't know the Existence of the minor gods which in turn makes the minor god weaker and weaker. Only the royal family and a selected few knew about the minor gods.
