"Truck-Kun!" I exclaimed which caused Rowan to look at me confusedly.

"Well according to my many years of reading manga and watching anime, usually in reincarnation genre, the main character will get hit by a truck and then sent to another world."

Rowan nodded at me that he understood.

"What happened when I died?"

Rowan's face suddenly darkened.

"When you died, I was the one who planned your funeral and I was the only one to attend it. You had no family and your only friend was me." Rowan said as he trembled.

"Everyone at school started to talk bad about you, saying how you deserved it! They didn't even know you!" He shouted out.

I did not feel sad that my classmates reacted that way towards me, what I cared about was Rowan at the moment. I reached out towards him and he burst out crying.

"Kai, when you died, I felt like I lost a part of me, I was so depressed, but I pushed through it because I thought that you wouldn't want me to be like that. Two months after your death, I was walking home from school one day, I got hit by a truck and died. I felt relieved when I was on the ground, dying. Because I thought that I would be able to meet you again, in the afterlife. Then I woke up to the goddess of reincarnation who told me I was her 'chosen one.'

I hugged him tightly.

"I'm sorry for leaving you," I said.

Jake (Rowan) was my best friend since young, I considered him as my brother.

He cried into my arms and I comforted him.

He pulled back from me and wiped his tears.

"I'm happy I died, Kai, after all, I am able to be reunited with you again." He said with a smile.

I smiled back at him. Then a sudden thought occurred to me.

"Do you know that we are in a book?" I asked.

"Yes, I do. Before I came to this world a week ago, the goddess had informed me about what is yet to home. She told me that my mission is to help save the world that she had created. I did not want to agree, but it seemed like she could read my mind because she suddenly said that you had been reincarnated in the same world where she wanted to send me to. I immediately agreed."

"So you know that I am the lost 3rd prince of the silvan kingdom and also your older brother in this world?"

"Yes," Rowan said. "I think we should reveal to my father and mother, the King and Queen of Silvan who you are during the royal hunt that will occur in a week. In the original book, it was revealed at the end of the book which is not until another 5 years."

I agreed with him, If I tell them that I am the lost prince, then maybe I use that to my advantage in order to save Caliban if or when he is condemned by the other nobles.

Maybe I could lessen his sentence from death by the guillotine and make it into exile with my status as a Prince. Then, I could travel with Caliban to the Kingdom of Silvan where we could live there together.

Hold up...! Kai! I thought. You are thinking too far into the future! You and Caliban haven't even gotten together yet!
