Chapter – 9 Back to Principal!

"Why do you have to beat those guys? I hope you have a valid reason or you might be getting expelled! I have already heard their side of the story now it's your turn." The principal said as he waited for Trevor to start talking, "Okay, me and my friend didn't take the orientation on our first day because we wanted to tour the college first, and in doing so we ended up going in the gym room where these guys were hanging out. After asking us if we were freshers? They wanted us to use as a practice dummy and I think that would have been physical harassment, that's why I beat them." Trevor said.

"No, He is lying. He just beat that day after we asked him to leave the gym room and he got angry for that." The group leader whose name was Ralph said and his lackeys supported him with his point. "Are you really gonna lie about this dude?" Trevor said as he looked at them with a disappointed look but he knew that these types of guys never are honest.

"I see, it's hard to trust a single truth when lots of people are telling lies. But considering your actions from yesterday, I'm going to believe you, Trevor. You can go back to your class and I hope I won't have to see you here again!" The principal said as he let Trevor leave and he looked at the other kids with a furious look. Considering what Trevor had done yesterday with the kid who was pulling Jenny's hair the principal knew that Trevor can't be that bad of a kid and he also had told him that he will let him off the hook once.

"Now that we know that you kids were at fault, what kind of punishment should I give to you? I had already my suspicions about all of you as there were a lot of complaints registered against you from last year. And now you tried to frame an innocent kid, first I would like all of you to bring your parents yesterday to meet me, and then I'll decide what I'll do with all of you. All of you can go now." The principal said in an angry voice and all seven of them hurriedly left the room. While cursing the principal and Trevor in their mind.

"Wilbert, send a notice to their registered house and inform their parents too. Also, I would like you to bring me the details of this kid name Trevor." The principal said to the teacher who had brought all of the students from the hall earlier. "I will send the notices and soon bring the details to you, sir," Wilbert said as he also left the room, leaving only the principal in the room. "He seems a good guy and a great fighter. If he stays close to my daughter then I won't have to worry about her safety all the time. I should do something about this." The principal thought as was leaning on his chair.

Back in the class, everyone was listening to the teacher who was giving a lecture about the history of Egypt, when Trevor suddenly showed up at the entrance, "Sorry sir! Can I come inside?" Trevor asked,

"And where were you for the last 15 minutes?" The teacher was annoyed because Trevor's sudden interruption had disturbed his lecture and he didn't like it when someone does that. "I was at the principal office, I'm sorry for being late." After hearing that he was at the principal office, the teacher thought it might be something important and let Trevor enter the class. While going back to where his friends were Trevor didn't miss the chance to look at Jenny and she was also looking at him but not in the same way as him.

"It looks like Dad let him go. I will ask him later what happened." Jenny thought as she saw Trevor get back to his seat and the teacher continued his lecture.

"Just like always! So, how did you get off this time?" Lucas asked as he was curious all of them were new here and it was hard for someone to get out of trouble here but Trevor had just done that. Will and Lucas had faith in him that he will be fine but they were also somewhat worried about him. They wanted to know how he did that.

"I just told them the truth! But I guess the principal wouldn't have let me go this easily if I haven't beaten that kid yesterday who was harassing Jenny. Yesterday evening when we were going home, he told me that he will help me out once and I think he did what he said today." Trevor explained he was also a bit baffled when the principal believed his story without asking any further questions and let him leave but on his way to class, he remembered the talk with him from yesterday, it made him understand why he was safe now.

"I guess he kept his word." At first, Trevor believed that the principal was just being nice to him, cause when he had asked him something he had refused him instantly. But seeing how things had turned out today he has developed some trust in the principal.

"Let's leave this matter, the good thing is you didn't get any punishment. Let's go to the bowling alley later to play some games after college." Will didn't want to talk about this matter anymore so, he tried to change the subject. "Yeah, all these lectures are making a mess out of my mind!" Lucas cried out as he was getting a bit overwhelmed by all the lectures, even though it was just his second day. He is the smartest out of all three but still, he was finding it hard to adapt.

"Looks like Lucas is done with being studious Hahahah" Will couldn't help but laugh. "Let's just endure these lectures for now." Saying that all three of them kept their silence until all the lectures were over. For the day, outside was getting darker, and everyone was preparing to leave for their home.

"Guys, let's go! It's finally over." Trevor said as he was the first one to get up from his seat. He was looking at Jenny, while she was busy talking with Sia. She was smiling brightly even though it was getting dark outside to Trevor it felt like there was a sun rising around Jenny. And seeing her smile like that was making his heart melt, there was a weird sensation he was feeling for the first time that moment. "I don't know what this feeling is, she feels right but also, I don't know how to talk to her. Damn, I'm definitely going to become a mess." He thought while Jenny and Sia had left the room together.

Before Trevor and the others could leave someone was standing in front of them, she was small but not that small she was close to Trevor's chest, Trevor looked at her a bit confused. The person standing in front of him was Christine "You need anything?" Trevor was indifferent towards her as his mind was occupied with Jenny. Seeing the difference in Trevor's face, she was a bit upset but didn't let that show on her face. "Why are you in a hurry? Do you need to go somewhere? I can give you a ride." She offered thinking that she will be able to spend some time with him.

"No, thanks we have other plans however I appreciate your kind gesture," Trevor said and walked off by the side of her leaving her standing there like a dumb person. In her mind, she was feeling embarrassed by Trevor's behavior. "What's wrong with this guy!! Isn't it obvious that I'm interested in him, why is he always ignoring me?" Christine said to herself while everyone was staring at what just happened to her. When she looked at others with her angry eyes, they all turned their heads to the other side and started walking out of the class.

Meanwhile when Trevor was talking with Christine, Jenny and Sia had already reached to parking where their parents were waiting for them. At first, Jenny thought that Sia was a normal student here but later she found out that Sia is the daughter of one of the professors here. She was a bit surprised but not surprised as Sia when she found out that Jenny is the daughter of the Principal here. Both of them mutually decided to keep it a secret from others. While continuing their friendship.
