❝you three should know better! ❞ Junghoon sermoned, hands on his hips while looking down at the kneeling trio who avoided his gaze.

The moment they arrived at the camp Junghoon didn't waste a moment to drag all three of them to their shared cabin before kicking open and down and ordering them to get inside. The trio were like scolded puppies as they followed the eldest who shut and locked the door behind them.

Junghoon sighed in disappointment before grabbing a random chair and dragging it in front of them and took a seat. Crossing his left leg over his right, he crossed his arms and waited for one of the three to speak.

Jin side eyed Chen who kneeled at his left , motioning the older to speak up. There was no way they would escape junghoon's wrath. Junghoon was known for being strict and firm to his decisions. Even if they were discreetly related, Junghoon wouldn't budge.

❝hoon—❞

❝hyung❞

❝Junghoon hyung❞ Chen swallowed thickly, ❝we're sorry. We didn't think we would end up getting lost and Jin's accident ❞

Chen didnt need to mention the stranger he encountered who left him once he spotted the group. The Chicken? He ended up bringing it back with him to which is now tied outside their cabin.

❝Chen you disregarded the fact that Jin has a weak heart❞ Junghoon worried, ❝did you know that he was chased by a snake and ran all the way until he found us? Who knows how long he has been running!? Chen, Jin is not the same as the Jin from two years ago❞

❝Junghoon just because I have a weak heart doesn't mean—❞

❝Jin please keep quiet❞ Junghoon interrupted, turning to Jin who had his eyes narrowed at him. ❝I'm still at awe that you followed these shenanigans. You should have known better Jin. What would noona say!? ❞

❝can we just leave noona out of this!? ❞ Jin raged, standing up from his previous kneeling position. ❝every time you sermon me you would include noona. For heavens sake Junghoon the person is already resting. Can't you for once not use a person's weakness so that they would feel guilty!? ❞

He hated it. How everyone would use his noona as an excuse for him to feel certain things. It didn't—it wasn't right that they were using a dead person's name. The person didn't even do anything for heavens sake!

❝look hoon❞ Jin narrowed his eyes at the older. ❝I was wrong, no need to remind me. I'll accept whatever consequence there is to be. can we just —please stop? I'm tired as of the moment❞

Junghoon clicked his tongue, a little baffled at what was said to him but nevertheless nodded his head. ❝well yes but—where are you going? ❞

Jin had walked past Junghoon and had his hand on the door's handle. He craned his head to glance at Junghoon. ❝out. I need some fresh air❞ before twisting the door knob and closing it behind him. Softly catching Junghoon's "Hey! "

He spent a good minute with his back against the closed door before deciding to push himself off and go to the only place he felt calm. The docks.

Clock clock

Pausing and looking down, Jin caught the sight of chen's chicken that had its held tilted to the left. The animal looked at him quizzically (like it was possible). The two stayed that way before Jin decided to cough, finding it crazy that he was planning on having a staring match with a chicken.

I'm going crazy, he thought sadly, shoulders slouched as he watched the chicken fix its head before turning around and walking back to the chair they used to tie the string that was attached to its leg. He stayed there for a few seconds before shaking his head, realizing that he was getting side tracked.

Right the dock...

🛡️

❝I can't believe I brought you ❞ Jin huffed, glancing at the animal held at his side. It was the Chicken. Surprise surprise he managed to bring this thing despite wanting to go alone. Heavens he's going crazy. ❝this is insufferable❞

The two walked for a good ten minutes before arriving at the familiar sight (for Jin). The moment he reach the end of the docks, he didn't hesitate to throw the animal forward who flapped its' wings before landing on the dock and started pecking the ground. Crazy chicken.

Jin took the initiative to sit down, cross legged, on the hard and damp floor, staring at the Chicken who was busy leaving its beak marks. He huffed, ❝I don't get why we even brought you here. There's a possibility that you would be eaten by some bear❞

What was Chen thinking? Probably nothing. And oh my goodness he's talking to a chicken. A poor excuse for a dinosaur.

❝I can't believe I'm starting to talk to animals... What am I? Cinderella?❞ he suddenly pinched himself, ❝great I already talking to myself. Heavens I should drink my vitamins❞

The chicken suddenly stopped pecking, making JIN flinch as it looked at him before screaming and running towards him. Jin had his arms open to catch the chicken but the animal ran past him. He decided to look behind him and found the sight of hiro scooping up the Chicken and examining it.

❝this chicken looks familiar ❞ hiro mused, tilting it to the right to see the underside.

❝aren't every chicken the same? ❞ Jin snorted, getting and walking up to the Japanese. Once he was a step away he let out his hand in a demanding position. ❝the Chicken please before it runs away and cause more trouble❞

Hiro hummed, letting his eyebrows meet at the middle as if he was thinking. ❝how about no? This thing is plump enough to cook for a roast❞

❝what!? ❞ Jin didn't hesitate to grab the unsuspecting chicken who started to flap its wings. He hissed, ❝stay down for heavens sake! ❞

Hiro chuckled. It was cute to say the least. The way Jin was struggling to control a very distressed chicken. ❝here let me—❞

❝what are you doing here? ❞ Jin asked, eyeing the Japanese, ❝aren't you supposed to be Jake and brazen? ❞

❝just because I'm usually with them doesn't mean I can't be without them❞

To be honest, hiro left the two who were talking about some upcoming event. A night party was it. Not only that but he expects Jake to add the punishment for the trio.

❝well if that's so then you are free to leave. I'm fine with John here❞

❝John? ❞ hiro quirked a brow, looking at Jin like he was crazy.

❝ah❞ Jin pursed his lips, ❝the chicken. John the chicken❞

❝you named the chicken John? ❞ that's crazy, hiro thought. ❝like John—John? ❞

❝in my defense John is a great name for a chicken. It sounds regal❞ Jin huffed, ❝and no I did not name it. Chen did. He said it looked like a john❞

❝of course he did❞
