Chapter 65 : Seal Six Tails, Jinchūriki!

These days, discussions about the potential candidate for the Six Tails Jinchūriki were ongoing among the Uzumaki clan's clan head and elders.

The Six Tails is a unique beast, resembling a white slug, remarkably similar in appearance to Tsunade's summoning beast, Katsuyu. However, it possesses limbs and engages in combat using highly corrosive liquids and steam.

Initially, the consensus leaned toward making Kazuhiko the Jinchūriki. His extraordinary vitality and Chakra made him an ideal candidate for the role. 

Yet, Kazuhiko declined the offer, citing Six Tails as too weak. At this point, Kazuhiko believed that he didn't require the power boost offered by a tailed beast, except in the case of the Nine Tails or Ten Tails. 

Furthermore, the Six Tails' abilities didn't align with Kazuhiko's combat style. After all, what good is it if all you can do is blow bubbles?

In the end, the decision was revisited, and Uzumaki Kushina was chosen as the new candidate.

In their discussions, Kazuhiko made it clear that if Kushina declined, they wouldn't force her or anyone else into becoming a Jinchūriki. Such a choice had to be voluntary.

Kazuhiko had anticipated Kushina's refusal, but to his surprise, she greeted the news with joy.

"Great! Now I can protect the Land of Whirlpools alongside everyone else!" she exclaimed.

Kazuhiko couldn't help but recall the scene from two days prior when Kushina had hugged him in excitement. "I hope she won't come to regret this later," he thought.

Shortly after lunch, a messenger arrived to inform Kazuhiko, "Kazuhiko-sama, the clan head said it has been confirmed. He wants you to come to the hall immediately. He'll be waiting for you there."

Following the servant's notice, Kazuhiko quickly made his way to the meeting hall.

"Kazuhiko, let's talk while we walk," Kiyoshi said when he saw him.

"The Mizukage has already consulted with us. We will head to a secret location in the back mountains to perform the tailed beast sealing."

"This is to prevent any accidents and large-scale destruction. After all, if a tailed beast were to go out of control, the devastation would be catastrophic," added Kiyoshi.

Kazuhiko nodded in understanding and asked, "How many elders will be assisting with the sealing?"

"I will oversee the sealing formation. If there's any danger, I will do my best to stop the tailed beast," Kazuhiko said with a serious expression.

"Don't worry so much, Kazuhiko. While we can't guarantee everything, we have faith in the clan's sealing technique," reassured Kiyoshi.

"In fact, if anyone in the ninja world can do it, it's us! You're here just as an extra precaution. The sealing will be carried out by our twelve most skilled sealing experts."

"Furthermore, as a precaution, we've set up additional seals on the outskirts, with support from other clan elders and Jōnin, in case the tailed beast breaks free accidentally."

"With your presence, I see no reason for failure," Kiyoshi said confidently.

Kazuhiko was relieved by Kiyoshi's assurance. "That's good," he replied.

The two quickened their pace and followed Yamanaka.

After reaching the back mountains, they followed Kiyoshi as they walked for a while, finally arriving at a vast open space.

The open space was filled with Uzumaki clan ninjas. On the other side, a group of Mist Shinobi, led by the elite Jōnin Mizuki Mori, guarded a massive iron box. 

The Mist Shinobi occasionally glanced at the box, beads of sweat forming on their foreheads, showing their fear and discomfort.

After negotiating with the Uzumaki clan, the Mist Shinobi appeared relieved, handing over the iron box to their comrades before departing.

It was clear that even the Mist Shinobi guarding the box were uneasy, as they couldn't help but glance back at it from time to time. Their expressions revealed fear, revulsion, and a hint of regret.

However, once the Mist Shinobi left the area and positioned themselves on the outskirts of the seal, several Uzumaki clan Jōnin and Chūnin moved closer to monitor them closely.

Surveying the surroundings, with the lush trees and the bright sun overhead, the twelve elders were already seated on the ground, their seal scripts laid out before them.

At a distance from the twelve, hundreds of Uzumaki clan Jōnin and other elders arranged a larger sealing formation.

Sealing incantations and barrier filled the valley, and everyone took their designated positions.

Kushina sat at the center with her eyes closed, surrounded by intricate and mysterious incantations. The twelve elders encircled her.

Seeing the newcomers, most of the Uzumaki clan members merely nodded in acknowledgment.

It was clear that they had been diligently preparing for this event for several days.

The iron box was transported to the center of the twelve elders, and the chains were gradually removed.

A palpable aura of anticipation filled the air.
