The Detective sternly faced the men and asked, "Who placed this note here?"
Of course, no one confessed.
"Don't outsmart yourselves," the Detective said with a stern face. "I know the culprit is among you, I've noted down the suspicions.. From now on, I'll be monitoring your actions closely. If I spot any anomalies, I will arrest you!"
The men looked on, their faces grim.
