Magic Battle - [ Chapter - 42 ]

He didn't know what the cause of his ability being boosted but Sin-ui had a suspicion of the being, "The Omniscient" since the tower said it was watching over him and it was definitely the reason why he got his class.

But all he knows right now is that he helped him get this strong but that still doesn't mean he should be trusted and while Sin-ui was thinking this Alvie interrupted and said, "Would you like to go to the magic battle area?".

Alvie noticed he looked like he was in deep thought so he then said, "Oh, sorry I didn't realize you were thinking about something.", Sin-ui chuckled and just said, "Don't worry, it wasn't anything important right now, anyway.".

Sin-ui continued and said, "Ok, sure bring me to the battle area.", so then all of them started going to the battle area and while they were walking Cho said, "Make sure to use only your magic, got that?".

She continued complaining and said, "Even if you say your using close combat magic, you have abilities that passively boost your strength that won't be fair for the people your going to fight Sin-ui, so only attacked ranged.".

When she said that Alvie interrupted and asked, "I'm sorry if this is rude to ask but I keep hearing about Mister Sin-ui having multiple abilities so I'm confused, how many abilities does Mister Sin-ui have?".

Both of them were surprised and Sin-ui started to glare at Cho as she tried to look the other way and so Sin-ui had to come up with an excuse quickly so he said, "Well I've been pretty lucky and I got quite a few abilities from the tower.".

It was widely known you could get abilities from the tower so it wasn't anything strange to hear and so Alvie said, "Oh, so that's why, if you got the many abilities as I heard you must be pretty lucky to have around Mister Sin-ui.".

After a while of them walking together they finally arrived and then Alvie then went up and then said loudly, "Hey guys! This is Sin-ui a friend of Cho and he wishes to have a battle with people with magic, who's up for it?".

While he said that Sin-ui still was glaring at Cho but then suddenly someone with red hair stood up and asked, "Isn't that the person that Cho said who mainly uses swords?", Alvie just smiled and said, "Correct!".

The person then started glaring at Sin-ui and so he was a bit confused but then the person said, "I wish to challenge him.", it looked like the person was mad at Sin-ui so it made him even more confused.

But he still wanted to fight him so he was then shown to a little arena but it wasn't as cool as he expected to be and this was also his first time being in the magic tower since he focused on beoming stronger.

Suddenly Alvie then clapped his hand and then smiled as he said, "Get ready!" then suddenly the ground started to shake and walls started to appear and a barrier appeared and the arena grew in size and now Sin-ui was amazed.

He was a bit excited since it was a long time since he had a proper duel with a player so he started to stretch a bit but the red head said while he was preparing, "Magic isn't just something you can have had a hobby.".

Sin-ui was confused when he said that but he ignored it and so he asked, "So when are we fighting?", the red head replied quickly saying, "You attack first since you have magic as your hobby it won't be that strong.".

When he said that Sin-ui became a bit mad so he then started multi casting immediately and then started launching multiple magic circles around the red head and he was quickly surprised by this.

While it was a surprise to him, he was still able to block it and he said, "Your quite proficient with magic, looks li-", Sin-ui interrupted him and said, "That was magic used as a distraction, how are you amazed with that?".

The moment he said that a huge plant came out behind the red head and immediately tried to stab him but he then summoned another barrier to block it and he had to use a lot of his mana to protect himself from it.

After blocking it, he then said, "Your really good but using too much of yo-", he was interrupted again and Sin-ui said, "You talk too much and what was too much? I only used a bit of my mana." he said as he smiled.

Then he waved his hand as multiple plants came out and then Sin-ui snapped his finger as hell fire surronded the plants at their tips but it wasn't burning the plant itself and then the red head's barrier broke immediately.

So then Sin-ui walked up to him and released a portion of his mana and then asked, "So do you give up?", the red head laughed and said, "Who wouldn't give up? And seriously how is using magic just a hobby to you?".

Cho then went up and said, "Magic isn't a hobby to him, he uses it when he is in trouble so of course he would train his magic as well.", Sin-ui chuckled and then said, "If you knew that why did you say I mainly use sword?".

She then said confused, "But you do?", Sin-ui chuckled and said, "Ah, so you were too lazy to explain in detail, I see." once he said that Cho then started complaining about him now and he just started to ignore it.

Although while they were arguing the red head interrupted their argument and said, "I'm sorry for my rudeness before, I just thought you were disrespecting the mage class and also my name is James, nice to meet you.".

Sin-ui chuckled and said, "Nice to meet you and sorry for the misunderstanding." after that they both started talking to each other and the other people who were there also opened up to him.

It seemed like all of them thought the same thing as James but the misunderstanding and so they all started talking together and they talked for a while and they also showed of their magic when they did.

When they did that Sin-ui also activated the lenses artifact he copied before and the abilities name was called "Great Mana Eye" so when he activated it there was a trace of mana in his right eye.

However it allowed him to learn the skills of some of the mages in the magic tower so it was a really great ability but none of the skills were anything to be amazed about like the abilities he gets but they were good for support.
