In front of her was a beachfront view, perfect for admiring the gentle waves at noon when the wind and waves were at their calmest. Bright, soft sunlight streamed into the room through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, illuminating the off-white rectangular carpet that felt delicately soft.

The deep sapphire blue sofa and bed runner blended together, with gold embroidery faintly reflecting the sunlight through the seams. The wooden cabinets and coffee table, combined with the lounge chairs on the sunbathing platform, perfectly balanced the white and deep blue, creating an incredibly spacious and relaxing atmosphere.

The brilliant light spread like a fragrance in the air, enveloping you unknowingly. The cool sea breeze dispersed the heat, revealing colorful sunbeams.

Duan Zao stood dumbfounded at the door. She reached out and gently traced the light beams, feeling a warm touch with a hint of rainbow colors. Watching the fleeting light and shadow on her finger, Duan Zao's eyes reddened, almost bringing her to tears.

She had lived in a three-square-meter room for two years, where even a mattress couldn't fit. At night, she would lay a simple mat on the floor to sleep and fold it back in the morning to have enough space to pull out a gaming chair from under the desk to start her day's work. In her tiny rental room, there was no such large window, only a narrow rectangular one on the wall that allowed sunlight to cast a crooked square on her wardrobe from 11:30 to 12:30 daily.

On Mid-Autumn Festival nights, she could only see a dark sky, imagining the moon through online pictures. People envied her for working in a big city with a salary over ten thousand, but only she knew how chaotic and exhausting her life truly was. She had lived in a cramped, enclosed space for far too long.

Seeing the spacious and relaxing room before her, Duan Zao felt her heart open up. The vast blue ocean connected to the sky, as if the world was embracing her. Excitedly, she kicked off her shoes and jumped onto the bed, bouncing like a child on a trampoline before falling back.

"Duang!"

Duan Zao held her head, almost crying from the pain. But she quickly wiped her tears, rolled happily on the bed with a pillow, then jumped off and began exploring the room like an adventurer.

The familiar commercial words made Duan Zao's eyes red again. Since university, she had lived away from home and worked hard outside, not having watched TV for a long time. Unfortunately, as an ordinary worker, she didn't understand the brands of the cabinets, TV, refrigerator, and bathtub… But not understanding didn't stop her from touching everything!

Happily, she took a can of juice from the mini-fridge, popped the tab, and gulped it down, even letting out a satisfied burp.

"This bathtub looks amazing!"

Duan Zao ran to the sunbathing platform, admiring the massage bathtub, then looked around. The privacy was excellent, perfectly protecting the guests' privacy from all angles. Without hesitation, she filled the tub, adjusted the water temperature, tied up her hair, and quickly slipped out of her dress into the tub.
