Lu Changsheng's soul crossed into the world of cultivation, and he became an Elder of Mount Shu, acquiring the Disciple Apprenticeship Simulator. He simulated the lives of disciples, returned teachings, and received rewards for the disciples' realm advancements. This book is also known as "What Should I Do When My Master Is Too Kind to Me," "My Master Never Hides Anything from Me," and "My Master Is Omniscient."
The Xuan Sha Sect left behind plenty of Spirit Stones, Immortal Stones, magical artifacts, Talismans, Elixir Pills, and various Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures, all of which fell into the lap of Lu Changsheng.
Of course, Lu Changsheng discarded all of the Xuan Sha Sect's demonic cultivation techniques.
Although the Demon Sects' techniques allowed rapid progress, they were more likely to lead to practitioners losing control and becoming possessed, they also reduced merits, thus precluding the use of Merit Treasures.
Lu Changsheng's Merit Treasure, the Heavenly Earth Mystical Yellow Exquisite Pagoda, had accumulated merits because of the execution of the heretic Luo Feng and the dissolution of the Xuan Sha Sect, growing into a twelve-story Treasure Pagoda.
However, there was still a long way to go before it reached forty-nine stories.
