Becoming the CEO's Contract Wife

After 5 hours of traveling, they finally arrived at Sean's house in the middle of an elite housing estate where only the rich were allowed to enter.

During the trip Odelia had fallen asleep in the car because she was exhausted from work and the long drive. They arrived in the middle of the night, and Sean woke her up to go inside.

"Sorry I overslept, are we there yet?"

"Yes, we're here. Can you walk? Or do you want me to carry you?" asked Sean offering to help Odelia.

But she refused, saying that she could still walk on her own. Sean then got out of the car and opened the door for Odelia, with his arm protecting Odelia's head from forming with the top of the car.

They walked into the large house, Sean showing Odelia the key to the door code so she would know it.

"Remember this code, don't forget it, do you understand?" he asked.

"Yes, I understand."

The door opened, they both went inside which was very quiet but Odelia was quite amazed by the arrangement of the furniture, the decorations on the walls and several other things.

"Do you like it? My sister designed it, she's a designer. So I let her arrange the furniture in my house. But since it's also your home now, you can arrange it however you like," Sean explained to his new wife.

Although they were in a contract marriage, Sean took their relationship seriously and wanted Odelia to feel comfortable in the house.

"No need, I like how everything is well organized and easy to see. I really like it," she replied with a smile.

"Good, then you can sleep in my room for tonight. I'll have someone tidy up the room for you tomorrow, so for now go to bed."

He escorted Odelia to his room on the second floor. Sean opened the door to his room and let Odelia inside.

"What about you, where are you going to sleep?" she asked.

"I'll sleep on the sofa," he replied pointing to the sofa in the lounge not far from the room. "You can use my bathroom, and if you need anything you can wake me up."

She nodded her head in understanding, then closed the door to go back to sleep. Odelia picked up her cell phone and found that there was a message from Rihanna for her.

[RIHANNA]

How is your new house? Do you like it?

[ODELIA]

I just arrived, but I quite like it. It's a very cozy place.

[RIHANNA]

Good! Then get some rest. I'll sleep tonight too. Good night!

Odelia smiled knowing that her friend was going to bed because she knew that Rihanna rarely slept. She then took off her jacket and placed it on the sofa while she lay down on Sean's bed.

Now she was back in Zondalia and living with a man who turned out to be her ex-husband's enemy.

Although she still has trouble forgetting Vincent, Odelia is eager to get over him and maybe start loving Sean like Rihanna said.

"He doesn't seem like a bad person, he's also very kind and gentle. I have to learn to accept him, after all he is the father of the baby in my womb. He gave me the chance and time to love him... That means he meant what he said, right?" Odelia murmured while rubbing her belly.

Because she was still sleepy, Odelia slowly fell asleep.

Meanwhile, Sean sat on the sofa while taking off his shoes, he had just finished picking up someone who turned out to be pregnant with his child.

At first he was surprised to find out about it, but he did have a premonition that it would happen. He didn't understand why Odelia had called herself barren when he went to Rihanna's house to meet her in person.

However, after he heard everything about her ex-husband's family. Sean understood and wanted to help Odelia to rise up against them with the power he had.

"I hope she prepares herself for what comes after this," he murmured and then lay down on the sofa and closed his eyes.

From that day on, Odelia lived in Sean's house as his wife. Sean intended to hire a maid who would help with the housework as he didn't have one before.

He only paid the team for one day to clean the entire house.

However, Odelia rejected the suggestion.

"I can do it, I feel uncomfortable if a stranger does the housework while I just sit there. So I will do the housework," Odelia said at the time, which made Sean unable to stop her.

Two weeks passed since the two of them decided to live together. Odelia had gotten used to Sean's daily schedule where he would leave for work at 8am and return at 7pm.

"If you need anything, you can call me anytime. When is your next pregnancy check-up?" Sean asked.

"Tomorrow, I'm going to the hospital tomorrow," Odelia replied.

Sean's hand rubbed the woman's head and said he would accompany Odelia tomorrow to go to the gynecologist.

"Then I have to go to work." He kissed Odelia on the forehead and then left the house.

She smiled because it turned out that Sean was indeed a good man, even though they had only been together for two weeks, there were so many things that Sean had done for her.

Odelia then locked the door after Sean left. She sometimes still didn't realize that she was now the wife of a man who had always been Vincent's enemy.

"Every day I hear him complain about TechnOzone and get angry about it. But now I'm pregnant with the CEO's child and his wife. If Vin finds out..."

She was sure he would hate her, telling her she was secretly having an affair with his rival.

However, Odelia felt that it was much better, that way Vincent wouldn't approach her or ask for her back either.

"Even if in the end I have to be hated by him... I guess it's all better than me being stuck with the feeling of going back to him."

At the same time, Vincent got out of his car in front of the house of someone who must know the whereabouts of the woman he was looking for. He brushed his blond hair to calm himself down and then pressed the bell.

Dingdong!

The man waited for a few seconds until a dark-skinned woman with a confused face opened the door. She was surprised to see who had pressed her doorbell.

"Oh-- there you are..."

"Yes, it's me Vincent. I'm sure you know why I came here today."

Rihanna felt a bit at a loss to explain, but she pretended not to know what he meant and asked him to leave.

However, the door was suddenly forcefully held open by Vincent as he stared intently at her.

"Where's Odelia?"
