13. Trouble with Han family? The prestige of the military

With the end of the graduation tournament, thanks to their recommendations, summer holidays started for the Long siblings. Unlike other children they didn't have to go through a lengthy recruitment and screening process and only had to hand in the recommendation in #1 Foundation Establishment High two weeks before start of next term. Both siblings had yet to use their rewards. After digestinf their gains from combat Tian stabilized his foundation at 1st stage of Qi gathering and even managed to approach second stage boundary.

Yin reached peak of stage 10 in both Qi and Body cultivation and was slowly approaching the "point of singularity". From Qi Gathering until Nascent Soul every 10th stage required accumulation until achieving " point of singularity" which resulted in natural breakthrough into next stage. Normal cultivators when they reached level 9 to advance to next stage had to manually convert their Qi, redultin in states like "Half-Step Foundation Establishment" or "Half-Step Golden Core". Point of Singularity meant accumulating Qi through purification and compression until, in case of breaking through from Qi Gathering into Foundation Establishment, it started naturally liquifying.

Currently the siblings were sitting in their living room talking with their mother about their plans for holidays. Suddenly the whole family was hit by enormous pressure accompanied by a booming voice:

- Where's the trash that crippled my grandson?! Come and die for this Grandpa!

Both siblings looked at each other nervously, Long Tian looking extremely guilty because he brought trouble to his family.

Long Yi raised her eyebrow and looked at butler Yang.

- Yang, my dear friend, could you shut up the trash and handle the aftermath of my children's actions please?

- Yes ma'am - Replied butler Yang, before vanishing as if he teleported. A second later the pressure vanished as if it was never there, and the voice went quiet.

Long Yi looked at her children.

- My sweethearts, we are a military family and can handle a few problems from low-rank planets. But to handle them you have to first tell me about them. Promise your mother if you're in trouble in the future you'll come to me for help?

- Yes, mother.

- Sure, mom!

- That of course isn't an excuse to cause trouble. I raised you better than that! Understood?!

(both) - Yes, ma'am!

- Good. Now wait for butler Yang and he'll drive you to the Foundation Establishment Qi gathering rooms. I even have another week-long access cards for you as your graduation presents. Now come, give your mother a kiss.

The rooms didn't have sealed off roofs since it allowed them to gather more energy, so Long Yin didn't worry about her Tribulation causing damage.

After circulating her Art for 10 minutes and puryfying impurities in the last bit of skin left Yin suddenly felt her inner Qi liquifying. With that clouds started gathering above her head slowly piling up, flashing with angry lightning. After a few hours the process was completed and, accompanied by six loud and terryfing booms six lightning bolts of her Tribulation struck, refining her body and nourishing her with Astral Qi. Afterwards her breakthrough finished and the clouds dispersed. After assuring the staff that she was unharmed and could continue cultivating and happily accepting extention of her stay to a month Yin returned to meditation, checking up what Primordial Dragon God Art and Tyrranical Dragon Body Tampering Art required in Foundation Establishment stage.

The cultivation turned out to be simple - she had to gather more liquid Qi filling her dantian and then nourish her body with it. After finishing examining her Arts and sending a message to her morher, telling her not to worry since she "won" a month-long stay, she continiued cultivating.

One month later a still-charred silhouette exited the cultivation chamber. It was Long Yin. She went out of the building and entered the hover car piloted by butler Yang, whom she called beforehand.

- How was your harvest Young Miss? Your brother certainly improved. With the help of the chamber he entered 7th stage of Qi gathering and yesterday he advanced once more into 8th stage.

- Good. On the first day I broke through to Foundation Establishment stage. The remaining month was enough to allow me to enter peak of 7th stage before the effect of Qi density fell off.

- That is amazing. You still have a month of holidays left, with the other reward you might even enter Core Formation before high school!

- Hnn. ' I also reached stage 6 in my body cultivation. At the peak even without Qi my bodily strength should reach over 500kg of brute force with durability to prevent me from being harmed by my own attacks to boot'

500 kg of strength wasn't something special. It could be achieved by Late stage Qi gathering disciples with their Qi attacks. Having it permanently on without usage of Qi? That could only be described as monstrous for the average cultivators.

Continuing ther small talk they journeyed home. After an hour they arrived at the front gate. Yin jumped out and ran home to hug her mother after her long absence.
