Sneaking In
The fact is something too overwhelming to bear. Even after what they went through, they still couldn't accept it as quickly as they should have.
The center of creation. So this is where it all began. But they didn't see anything around here, leaving them confused.
Barry and his friends scanned their surroundings, searching for anything other than the empty and vast spaces. They still hadn't found anything.
"Uhm," Elaine said. "Where is it?"
The others looked at Hael and Zigan with the same puzzled expression as her.
The Angel and Demon exchanged glances. Their looks seemed uncertain. This was something they had never done before. Even for them, the Higher Beings, they needed acknowledgment from their superiors to be in this place.
But now they had actually brought mortal beings, humans, to this place. It was because they had no other choice. They had to come here, but they couldn't come here by themselves.
