Doubtful Feeling Even After Winning
Barry looked to his left. Where he saw flashes of silvery arrows sticking into something. A thin smile appeared on his face, realizing that Danny and Elaine had gotten the Devourer Plant.
A moment later the black petals disappeared from around him like dust blown away by the wind. There was nothing left of the monster to block his vision.
Barry walked towards the Devourer Plant which was now lying on the ground with a weak body. Dark purple liquid flows from every wound on her body. The leaves and tendrils on her body also began to wither.
Danny and Elaine walked closer to him. They were still staring wary at the monster's figure even though he looked so weak he could even move a finger.
The monster stared at them all. This time the purple eyes that were originally shining with the light of anger had disappeared, replaced by a feeling of fear.
"What are you going to do to her?" Elaine asked.
